Ok, simple question: Nimelung good or bad for Warlocks. I guess bad, 'cause it has nearly no stats on it and just hope that the procc comes doesn't sound good at all...

At level 70, is there a superior spec for raids/dungeons (Kharazhan, Zul Aman for example), and is it any different from the level 80 specs, or just the 80 ones minus some talent points in the secondary tree?

Also, if I have a lot of sockets in my gear (8 or more), and a certain amount of ArP which is present on late-TBC gear, would it be worth trying ArP gems or would it be a waste of gems?

What is the haste (soft) cap and critical strike cap for an arcane mage?

As a 25man raiding resto shaman and after reading i dont really understand haste soft cap etc. (my english is very bad....)

Question: Should i follow the gemming rule of putting quick amber in blue slot and end up with a 1300 so haste rating or should i go hybrid energized eye of zul and stay below the softcap. My main spells are CH and riptide. any advise or comment?

I'd worry more about how much haste you have first. I think around 1100 haste is where you stop worrying about haste and go straight spellpower, unless you need to meet your meta, of course.

It's clear that you are calculating it wrong, because the trinket should average around 7-9% of your damage.

Remember that TAiaJ does procc SoV, so in order to precisely calculate the damage value of it, you need to use this formula:

Manifest Anger Dmg + (Number of Manifest Anger proccs x average SoV tick damage).

Also, keep in mind that the above math does NOT take into account the value of the 85 hit rating on the item.

The difference in value between both versions will greatly differ depending on your gear, so I suggest using Rawr to precisely calculate the corresponding values.

You don't want to use the average damage of each SoV tick, you want to use the average damage of each SoV PROC instead.

The haste soft cap is only important for Lesser Healing Wave and Riptide (and a Healing Wave cast right after a Riptide, since it ends up being very fast with 2-piece T10). Mp5 is pretty bad, and not worth gemming, usually even to get a socket bonus. I'd stay with quick ambers in blue slots. I use 1 energized eye of zul in order to get my meta gem active and then use quick ambers or reckless in everything else.

To optimize my output for Dreamwalker HC (both 10 and 25, both with 2 healers inside the portals) I startet collecting a few offpieces for different gemming / enchanting. Mana ist not really an issue at this encounter, so the "normal" way to max Int is not needed.

I am not sure, whether its better to gem for Haste or for Spellpower (or a mix of both). Same with trinket, i saw Hpallys with the Melee-Badge-Trinket due to the 153 haste. I preffered in the past HC Sliver of Pure Ice and another SP-Trinket (or sometimes the Int-Trinket for +599 SP on use with Averenging Wrath, 2PT10 and Heroism).

For this encounter I change my Specc to 51/5/15 for the 5% Crit, since Div Guardian is not really necessary in my opinion.

Any thougts? Or isnt it maybe not necessary to use an alternave gear / specc at all?

Since the trinkets scale different w/ raidbuffs, too, there's no way to check this.
Even doing the same encounter twice wouldn't be any prove that TAiaJ is better than WFS or vice versa [the fighting duriation is too small and the RNG of your attacks and your raid's DPS (which cause the fight to be longer/shorter --> effects your DPS aswell) alters too much].
In this case: trust the spreadsheet. The math doesn't need to be proved empiricly
