I heard Blood Tanking is all the rave nowadays, I have been away for some time and was wondering if this is the way to go as far as DK tanks go, ICC survivability and whatnots.

Attack Power - This stat will no longer be present on most items as a flat value, though it will still show up on some process. Strength and Agility, which will be present on items, will grant the appropriate amount of Attack Power (generally 2 Attack Power per point of Strength or Agility) depending upon which stat a particular class favors. Agility may provide less Crit than it currently does.

The changes wont affect certain items (leather, plate..) it will affect the stats itself, so all the Agi + AP items will be treated the same not depending on the material "they are made of"

Thanks all, I raided horde side as Affliction in TBC and love the playstyle, but at my current (BoA gear based) gear level I just can't heal enough to survive, and I don't want to be dropped from heroics for only doing 2k dps until I farm up my 232 gear and get into some raids.

Miranda, i really like your UI, but i fail trying to copy it. I never worked with couple of addons you listed so it´s hard to get through every addon. Is there a possibility to upload this as a UI-Pack, or at least some rough tips which addon has which effect at your screen?

A little confused about those pesky +6 and +8 strength bonuses with the yellow sockets. I've been gemming them with Str/Crit forever... would Str/Haste be better? I'm a fucking noob and just found out the other day there was such a gem. I'm 0/17/54 so the crit isn't as good as if I were blood subspec'd. I would imagine the Str/Haste gem is better, but it throws me off to not see many people doing it.

Hello, I've always used this forum to learn and get answers but I've never posted. I've been raiding as a frost mage since early BC and I love it. I'm not here to brag but I would always impress raiders with my frost dps and I know the spec pretty damn well. However, right before frostwing halls in ICC was patched in, I took a break from Wow to catch up in grad school classes. I just started playing again this week only to be disappointed. I was excited about the new frostbolt in 3.3.3 but for some odd reason I'm doing less dps. Wasn't frostbolt buffed? Before the wow break, I was doing roughly 6-8k dps on raid bosses depending on raid size, buffs, etc. I had a 2700whgs at the time. My frostbolts were critting an average of 10k. Now, they are hitting for less.. roughly an average of 8k. My dps in raids has taken a noticeable dip. I'm doing like 5.5-7k dps on raid bosses. What the hell happened? What's wrong with my frostbolt? I haven't changed a thing.

Wasn't FoK changed to only be based off the ranged throwing weapon only? So what you have equipped on the hands, what poisons they have would be irrelevant?

I was wondering if anyone thought of Dislodged Foreign Object - Item - World of Warcraft for resto. This is a dps trinket obviously, but the huge amount of haste it gives is valuable, and with a lot of movement needed in ICC, we could just use flame shock etc. to proc the sp effect once in a while, though even without it the haste alone should be great. If combined with the elemental totem and flameshocking on the run, DFO could pretty much be BIS resto shaman trinket, any thoughts?

great thread.

However after reading the tons of pages i dont see any love for people who dont have any tier gear. i feel that the first post is biased towards people with t9 and t10.

although i do have t9, i have 264 boes to replace them but im still doing under 7k dps? even after using all the rotations i personally find the rotation for 2 pieces of t9 better than the basic rotation for my set with no set bonuses from Teir armor.

I'm too lazy to farm anything, and honestly... since some recent changes, there's nothing worth farming that will actually get me any money. (Gee, thanks blizz for making my profession freakin' pointless for me. (enchanting))

So I've just been pvping and buying uncut gems and selling them. ...though those aren't getting much anymore either.

Im wondering why potlol puts the razorice weapon on his mainhand and fallen crusader on his offhand. Do the stacks go up faster?
