Trying to keep my post civil and part of the overall discussion, did your post have a point?

I mean reading your post you mentioned that you 'aren't gemmed right and whatever' but those choices don't even remotely fit within the suggestions in this thread in the original post. Being a FoL build is all fine and good but in order to do it well a person needs to be at the soft cap of 676 haste among other things.

I took the time to review a couple of your guilds logs for recent attempts and kills of some bosses and it seems like either the paladins aren't trying or just don't grasp core concepts.

Taking a general Valithria fight log, it seems you use HL and with a glyph so that is good, but you don't beacon the boss and either stand next to her yourself and heal yourself for the glyph to bounce or you don't use a pet to bounce the glyph. This is a healer fight, tell your hunter friend to park their pet under the boss and then go to town healing their pet. Your glyph heals will start hitting for about 60k once you are high enough on stacks compared to your HL hits for 120k.

Honestly it is hard to get past your gear, before anyone can have a serious discussion with you about your paladin and how you play it you need to re-read the original post and not 1/2 ass your gems or gear choices.

I know I am getting into the territory of getting forum warned but...you need to get rid of your haste egg with SP. If you are a true FoL build that proc does nothing for you at all and it would be better to replace it with a SP trinket that has far more SP on it.

The spreadsheet uses the formula: 400+85*Level_Selected+4.5*85*(Level_Selected-59) with Level_Selected = Level of the Hunter.
So unless we both miss something or GC gave us false information, the spreadsheet is miscalculating the armor.
Though I can hardly believe that this has not been noticed for so long..

Lets say that one wanted to go DW DK FROST TANK. At present there is a ton of info that states various things about doing/not doing this. I want to tank with my DK, but i am so frustrated by all the OVERWHELMING amount of info on the subject. Point blank, there is way to much info here, and having it all posted in a forum format is really messy.

I just want to know, can someone please post a link to a DW DK FROST TANK talent build that would work well. please!!! I havent the time or energy to troll through endless amounts of data on this very messy, although HELPFUL site, which should be converted into a WIKI of some sort. hint hint jerks.

Last night Heroic Dying Light dropped and since our druid has it and our priest dont want it (IDK why) i took it.
i know its not on the list of BIS or anything, but is it not a good choice for weapon? the Trauma/Bulwark combo only beats it in crit really as the haste on the staff will allow me to gem for SP instead of haste. and to me (i am 9/12 heroic 25) trauma is VERY situational. and heroic trauma hasnt even dropped for us yet. my guildies all laughed at me for spending like 1700 gp on it but i really think it will work out. your thoughts?

Easy solution for Phase 1

Have a pali tanking the horrors, you should only need to tranq one of them. I've even tanked both of them on my 5600GS pali with zero tranqs. Pali's offer you a few things here.

1) they can taunt off a melee who gathers threat on the ghouls, 3 at a time, easy easy add control
2) they have two stuns available for the horrors, and one of those stuns is AOE, so if you miss a tranq, or if you are dropping off your plague when one enrages, its no issue
3) if it gets really really bad, ardent defender procs

But the approach I use on my hunter is a macro i have that does
/tar sham
/focus
/tar lich

Sets Shambling horror to focus, without losing my current LK target

macro2:
/stopcasting
/cast [target=focus] Tranquilizing shot

I used to have power auras set up to show me when my focus enraged, but I'm so comfortable with P1 now I just keep an eye on the shambler, he has a distinct animation when he enrages. If there are two shamblers going into phase transition, i keep the one on focus until it dies. If there is only one, I use that time to focus LK in anticipation for P2, so I can see his cast bars/target for defile's. Your tank should easily be able to handle one horror, through enrages, without issue. If he's getting smacked by two enraged horrors, stuff can get bad fast.

I've been trying to decide which weapon enchant to use, i know most people say berserk or mongoose, i'm curious on how the procs work though, i've seen people saying they have 35% proc uptime, how does that work? as far as i have found they are 15 seconds procs with 1 minute internal cd's. also, as i am rather new to feral dps i rarely watch my weapon procs or do anything special when they happen that could increase my dps, which makes berserk and mongoose less appealing to me, mainly looking for info on the underline part, but other input would be appreciated

in the ideal dps zerg encounter, what would the top 3 dps' be considering they;
have all the BiS gear,
have the ideal talent spec,

i do know theres not an answer set in stone to this question, but just assume it would be with your guild and im sure you'd have a good idea what the top 3 would look like.

I have read many pages in this thread and potentially missed or do not quite grasp yet the proper CD use to maximize DPS. I have heard varying opinions as well.

I currently am using:

AB1
MI + IV + PoM
AB2
AB3
AP + AB4
MBAM

* I then use IV anytime off CD and always stack PoM AB, followed by AP + AB.


I feel as though I have reached a ceiling in my DPS and in search of wanting to get better I feel this is where I suffer the most. Granted alot of CD use is fight dependent and I will wait on CDs for burst sessions or lust, etc at a minimum I open every fight with that sequence.

Please provide me with some different opening CD juggling to use. Thanks!
