This is something i posted for my guild awhile ago. I look back several posts to find something similar but could not. This is a great way to lose weight and get that summer body.
What is Cross-fit? Cross-fit is a strength and conditioning fitness methodology combining weightlifting, sprinting, and gymnastics (ie Lots of different exercises).
Here is a short news video of Cross-fit

And the number one benefit of Crossfit is YOU DONT NEED A GYM!!! All the exercies I am about to list below can be done at home in your living room. No need to pay the $35 a month gym fee. If you do have access to a gym you can add weights to your workouts and come up with endless possibilities.
Workouts:
Push-Ups
Situps
Lunges
Pull-Ups
Squats
1 Leg Squats
Sprinting/Jogging
Jumping Jacks
Calf Raises
Star Jumps
8 Count bodybuilders/Burpees
Handstand Push-Ups
Boxing
Jump Rope
Dips
etc......
Now as i said all these workouts above can be done at home just using your body-weight at no cost to you. Another great fact is you can change up the technique as well if you are tired of the same thing ie. Incline push-ups, decline push-ups, the 1000 different ways to do sit-ups, etc. Do what you want to do.
Sets/Reps
I cant tell you how many sets/reps to do since each person is different. You can add sets/rep/exercises as you go along. Here are some sample workouts (I myself always start with a quick 1 mile run as a warm up):
Day 1
10 Pull-Ups
20 Push-Ups
15 Lunges
20 Calf Raises
20 Sit-Ups
x 10 sets of that with 1 min rest in between sets
Boxing for 5 min
Cooldown walk for 3 min
Day 2
10 Burpees
10 Lunges
10 Pull-Ups
50 meter sprint
20 Sit-Ups
x 5 Sets with 1 min rest in between sets
Cooldown walk 3-5 min
Honestly the list is endless guys. Its crazy what you can do with Cross-fit. Just choose what you want to do and what you can do. Hope you like!!! And remember Summer is right around the corner so get working out.
