Hey,

I have one question regarding this item:
Bizuri's Totem of Shattered Ice - Item - World of Warcraft
I know it's not a good choice for many fights, but when you look at it, it gives you flat 220 haste rating that needs to be refreshed every 20 to 25 seconds in order for it not to drop. I tried it myself, and it's quite nice in some static fights, like Festerface, Marrowgar, Saurfang, Princes, BQL etc. But for some fight it's usability drops like hell, especially those that require large amount of movement or those that do not have an applicable target for quite some time(sindragosa, LK, dreamwalker). So my question is, do you find that totem useful at all? or does refreshing the buff/debuff cost you too much and you go for other totem?

Thanks in advance.

With the 20% buff, we did 9 hms and killed LK, we started the pulls at 19.15 and stopped at 22.45.
- with that it was a oneshot of LK, and only myself (RL) and one other did LK before on 25man. But when you have 20% buff. Aswell as good guidiance on vent = Anything is really possible.

This week was first time we tried DW hm. We took her on third try basicly just zerging it.

Ofc its easier to manage this, when we have run the pug for quite some time, atleast 20/25 are the same people every week, and i did the HM's before when i raided actively.
We started with few HM's every week, and each week we added one or two bosses on HM.
We also started on HM's before taking sindragosa on normal.

ps. pot size was 8k. As many are regulars, its only the trinkets and 277 tier and very BiS items that goes for alot. Many things go for 1-2k.

Go over, going under means your ghoul will be 1% under as "Ghoul hit rating rounds down. So if you have 7.99% hit rating, the ghoul will have 7% hit rating."

Frost DW trinkets.

I see alot of BiS sets but I am trying to find what would be considered a Frost DW BiS trinket list. Only reason I ask is that tiny abom was given to a frost DW DK over a ret pally. HC 277 Version. He had DC normal and Hrumkel.

Could someone provide me with a reasonable 1-10. I cannot seem to find an optimal gear list for just trinkets unless I am blind

Trying hard

My Mage, Jacklie of Uther, is well geared and properly built but I am not getting the DPS I think I should. I think my problem lies with my Spell power vs haste rating. I have spent many many hours experimenting and have not come up with a cause. Please point me to the right area.

Crossfit

This is something i posted for my guild awhile ago. I look back several posts to find something similar but could not. This is a great way to lose weight and get that summer body.

What is Cross-fit? Cross-fit is a strength and conditioning fitness methodology combining weightlifting, sprinting, and gymnastics (ie Lots of different exercises).

Here is a short news video of Cross-fit YouTube - CrossFit Workout

Benefits of Cross-fit:

•Body Shape Change - "Receive random Compliments on how your body looks"
•Increased Strength - "Able to do everyday activities without pain or discomfort"
•Fat Loss - "Lead a Healthier Life"
•Increased Energy - "Sustained Energy Levels throughout the Day"
•Less Daily Stress - "Feel Better"
•Increased Lean Body Mass - "Burn More Daily Calories"
•Lower Blood Pressure - "Decreased risk of Heart Attacks"
•Increased Endurance - "Never Get Tired During the Day"
•Weight Loss - "Look Better"
•Enhanced Athletic Performance - "Perform Better in Your Sport"
•Increased Range of Motion of Major Joints - "Decreased soreness and Muscle Aches"
•Improved Quality of Life by Sleeping Better, Increased Energy, and Weight Control - "Enjoy Life"
•Short Workouts - "More time to complete your daily tasks"

And the number one benefit of Crossfit is YOU DONT NEED A GYM!!! All the exercies I am about to list below can be done at home in your living room. No need to pay the $35 a month gym fee. If you do have access to a gym you can add weights to your workouts and come up with endless possibilities.

Workouts:

Push-Ups
Situps
Lunges
Pull-Ups
Squats
1 Leg Squats
Sprinting/Jogging
Jumping Jacks
Calf Raises
Star Jumps
8 Count bodybuilders/Burpees
Handstand Push-Ups
Boxing
Jump Rope
Dips
etc......

Now as i said all these workouts above can be done at home just using your body-weight at no cost to you. Another great fact is you can change up the technique as well if you are tired of the same thing ie. Incline push-ups, decline push-ups, the 1000 different ways to do sit-ups, etc. Do what you want to do.

Sets/Reps

I cant tell you how many sets/reps to do since each person is different. You can add sets/rep/exercises as you go along. Here are some sample workouts (I myself always start with a quick 1 mile run as a warm up):

Day 1
10 Pull-Ups
20 Push-Ups
15 Lunges
20 Calf Raises
20 Sit-Ups
x 10 sets of that with 1 min rest in between sets
Boxing for 5 min
Cooldown walk for 3 min

Day 2
10 Burpees
10 Lunges
10 Pull-Ups
50 meter sprint
20 Sit-Ups
x 5 Sets with 1 min rest in between sets
Cooldown walk 3-5 min

Honestly the list is endless guys. Its crazy what you can do with Cross-fit. Just choose what you want to do and what you can do. Hope you like!!! And remember Summer is right around the corner so get working out.

Maybe you should read more than the post above yours when you go to post?

I read back several pages of post just to make sure I was not posting useless information but I guess I might have missed it. I saw lots of post regarding weightlifting but none regarding cross-fit.

You should make an introduction post on the Benefactor's Bar so we can get to know you better.

Consistency. It's only a virtue if you're not a screwup.
