Hello everyone. Yesterday I got my 4th T13 piece. On target dummy my dps is only ~20.500.. I have to improve it or I will loose place in raid. Here is link to my armory: Jezabal @ Doomhammer - Game Guide - World of Warcraft. I have 2760 haste rating at the moment, I might get around 35% haste but I can not reach 3970 rating. On raid I do not have Dark Intelect.
My latency: ~50ms (home) and ~60ms (world)
My opening is: Volcanic Potion, trinkets, shadowfiend, MB, VT, SW:P, DP, MF..
I'm the Rleader for a Heroic 10 man guild, this destro lock we've been using is having serious issues pulling the aoe we need on H Yor, should he be going affliction? if so, what other fights should I have him go affliction? Single target, hes nasty, but on fights with adds..dps drops considerably....
so i have both No'Kaled, the Elements of Death(raid finder) and fear was wondering which to use i believe the axe does more dmg just not sure i just came back to wow and kinda forgot all the rogue math and everything.
I think it would come down to you, your gear, and your glyphs. Possibly clip the FS after the LvB, then ES when your shocks come off CD would be what I would do, but greater minds than mine may say otherwise.
has anyone done research if heroic [Morningstar of Heroic Will] is better than normal [No'Kaled, the Element of Death] in either main hand, off-hand, or both hands? or is there a link to a page with info on this that i could not find? any help would be much appreciated
It will recalculate whenever you refresh it with MS, so any benefit to reapplying it pretty much gets negated there.
The reason I bring this up is because I was reading on how Festering Strike of an Unholy DK acts in much of the same way, but the ticks from diseases do not recalculate upon FS but retain the original snapshot. Was hoping that Rend and MS performed in the same way as Diseases and FS.
Is arcane a viable build? There are some posts at the beginning of this thread that say no.
I do it like this: (ignoring cooldowns, trinkets etc)
1 - AB until 20% mana (or even less)
2 - Evocation
3 - AB until 20% man (or less)
4 - AB - ABarage - AM until Evocation (mana always at 20% or less)
5 - Evocation
6 - back to step 3
Step 4 is what kills my DPS. Trying to proc AM with the minimum amount of AB so that there is just enough mana for a few ABs, until Evocation is up.
In terms of complexity, I think whereas the spriest and moonkin have to manage DOTs carefully, the Arcane mage has nothing to worry about, except mana. The problem is mana is vital for casting something, anything.
I have created a discussion thread on EU Forums for MoP Talents discussion. It may be a little premature, but I think we do need to start theorycrafting on it sooner or later, since the latest MoP Talent calculator update seems to hint at how the recent changes may be permanent, or at the very most slightly tweaked before Beta.
I just recently race changed to Troll and have been looking trying to get the most out of my dots through haste. I am not very good at understanding how either Blood lust or the Troll racial affect haste and dot ticks. Doing some simulation with the heroic gear out there in any reasonable setup that I can find including using the heroic Insignia of the corrupted mind trinket proc the haste numbers cap around 6000 haste rating (6251 Haste rating with proc using the set up that i chose and 2973 without proc). Givin this extreme amount of haste i would like to find out with Troll BS + NP + Raid + Heroism how many ticks are possible the chart in this forum only shows up to 1425 Haste a 4th tick. Can anyone add to this and show how many ticks you can get for you're normal dots (Living bomb, Pyroblast) using the numbers I posted up to 6251 haste? I was also trying to find out how many ticks i could get out of combustion. The chart in the forums shows +3/3 Netherwind Presence and 5% Raid Buff using this chart i show a 5th tick at 4364 and a 6th tick at 5548 haste rating. Can anyone add to this I am trying to find the numbers with +Bloodlust, 3/3 Netherwind Presence, and 5% Raid Buff up to 6251 haste Also with +Troll BS, 3/3 Netherwind Presence, and 5% Raid Buff, and last but not least +Troll BS, Blood lust, 3/3 Netherwind Presence, and 5% Raid Buff.

my WL just dinged today and I was wondering, what is the optimal opening cycle as a demonology warlock? I generally want to use CoE, Meta, Immolation Aura, Demon Soul, Doomguard, Dots and Felstorm with a following pettwist, but in which order?

Ive also found while using the Sim that using mass Adept Lava Corals over straight agi is providing more dps... In saying that it also says that the current BiS gear setup listed is 200 points over the expertise cap and also doesn't have trinkets working.
In the sims I can actually confirm this, it sims higher but that might be because, we scale so good with the mastery we get, in theory this is, but we depend highly on the proc rates of both No'Kaled and Vial of the Shadows if we go for that setup.
I just have downloaded TellMeWhen,Maga Mana bar and Mage nugget that is suggestet to have from info here. I am a bit new in use those addons. And thoght maybee on off you could explaine how to use them.
Has anyone tested using a different glyph other than WF on Madness of Deathwing? I was thinking LB might be of use since we spend a good amount of time with 20% haste, or perhaps FT weapon?

Regarding Ultraxion (25 HC), I usually go arcane there so I can do consistent dps and also better dps as fire, I was trying out using mana shield once during every Arcane Power (I have 4t13 oc) to get the spellpower from IA. Unfortunately I can't do the math, but I was wondering if it's worth it. I have SoW, probably not worth it without it but if someone could tell me I would appreciate it From my personal experience with using mana shield I definetely do less ABs and more AMs, but with the spellpower the damage of spells go way higher, and also if you use it during full cooldowns (not just AP) you can crit for much more, but you burn will a little shorter. I know SimC doesn't supports IA, is Rawr does I couldn't find it? Thanks in advance!
Vortex Pinnacle: in the circular areas where there are groups of the flying orbs that seem to be such a pain for melee to chase down, mages rule the roost. Before anyone else in the party aggros them, go invisible, blink into the center of the group, cast frost nova to freeze them in place (and remove invisibility), then instantly blizzard them down. It's really easy, fun, and makes for a good show.

1. Im currently gemmed towards stam>mastery(27%/3400). Would it be more beneficial if i went back to stacking mastery>stam? I noticed alot of BDKs leaning towards stam recently so i jumped on the band wagon.
I'd suggest your DK Tanks should be using Grip and Chains of Ice on the Sappers after they've dropped to the deck to help slow them down, and the ranged should swap to them to help burn them down. But make sure your DK's don't overlap their abilities on the same Sapper at the same time.

As the only melee dps, your cleaving the adds is a very big portion of the dmg they'll take, so if they can grip the sappers to the adds where you can cleave onto them, you can increase your dmg time on both of them, allowing them both to die quicker.
