First My priest has basically the cookie cutter but i was wondering why not to take shadow affinity? Granted its not easy to steal agro anymore if not impossible but even taking that away but without it, is it still impossible to steal agro?(if this is the case then i can respec those three points.)
You already have 30% aggro-reduce through Shadowform, so with hunters, rogues and normal tanks it's impossible to steal aggro.

There are some fights, where you take dmg regardless of what you do.
I think Sindragosa with the frost-aura is one example, although I'm not 100% sure.
With Improved Shadow Form + Concentration Aura you get 100% less pushback, so you lose no Mindflay-ticks.
Also the Movement-part of Fade can be sometimes good. (Valithria Dreamwalker if a Frostvolley gets through)

It my be not much, but the 5 stacks count for the whole fight. So if you get SWP up with only 3 stacks, it deals roughly -4% over the whole fight, which is a decent amount. Also you don't lose anything by waiting for 5 stacks if you use the opening sequence of the OP.

On the heroic dummy i hit 4300 dps. So my one theory is my characters lack of Spirit which is not all that high at the moment but even then when i saw another shadow priest do just as much as i could with 2-300 less spellpower half my crit and way less then half my haste i thought id see if i could find some help maybe give some advice to where im going wrong.
Get T10 4p bonus! That is a huge DPS-Increase.
Use the tailoring-enchantment for your cloak. (Lightweave)
Use a runspeed-enchantment for boots.
Also gear is not everything!
Here we come to some basic skill-questions.
Do you clip Dots?
Do you clip Mindflay?
Are there longer downtimes on your Dots?
Do you have high latency? (shadows suffer more severe from it due to channeling)
Other than that, I would not recommend Spirit, since it's not as good as Crit or Haste.
For manareg use your Fiend and if necessary or possible due to breaks Dispersion.
You also have too much Hit (which you said yourself). Draenei-Priests only need 10% = 264 Hit (if I remember correctly).
Hope I could help.

1. I ussually use a speed pot, it does more dps compared to wild magic
2. can't check from here, but rawr should be able to give you your theoretical dps
3. if you have no trinkets nor other items that proc or need to build up (spyglass, phylactery, dfo) and the fight is longer then 3 minutes then yes, pop everything at the start, keep lb up fb in between, make sure not to miss any hot streak proc
Though if you have some trinkets that proc and such, wait till they proc then pop everything to gt the most out of it
You can also pre pot, just another speed pot just a sec before the pull
If the fight is less then 3 minutes, keep everything till under 35%, you might want to stagger your cooldowns for heroism aswell / bloodlust
I haven't seen any posts on this so I'll just ask here: If I have 5/5 sanctified at the moment and don't need the hit on my tier 10 gloves would it be worth it to buy the agi dps vendor gloves? Taking into account that the 277 gloves off festergut have yet to drop in the months I've been clearing it and it has become rather frustrating.
So I searched far and wide and could not come up with an answer to this.
If you look at my armory you will see that I am sitting at 100% ArP with my current gear set up. I have plugged the numbers in for 4 piece 264 vs 2 and 2, which will also yield me with enough hit to drop my 245 ring and neck in favor of better pieces and the DPS change is minimal.
I tried to swap out various pieces so go toward the 4 piece t10 to help out with my hit, but no matter what I do, it tells me it will be a minor DPS loss to do so, which is forcing me to hang on to my ring and neck for the hit.
My question is, how important is 100% ArP. Would I be able to drop 5-10% safely to re-itemize for higher AP or do I need to stick with what I got until 277 tier?
Yo! Be patient, got very bad English. First(and last) post here, since I got no any question about the threads...
I'm just wanna know, how bad is combat dagger dps Vs other specs ? How many percentage in BiS gear ? May u can link a WWS thing(don't remember name) for me, plz ? I think no1 try combat dagger since lvl80 ... As I remember, the reason was low cp generation with high energy cost, maybe now with imba hasteratings, got enough procs from combat potency to handle 60 energy bs spam... or dunno
Write the reasons plz about avoiding combat daggers 4ever
3. Is this what i should be doing.(Pop cd's at start(Bzerk,Combustion,Mirrorimage). Rotation LB>FB>Insta>FB>Keep LB UP,etc. People are saying my dps is lower then it should be. I don't see any error's that i could be making.
You were hit by malleable goo twice. Awareness > gear. That debuff slows DPS to a crawl.
Awkward as it may feel, there's nothing wrong with putting vigilance on the MT. It can be extremely helpful for rapid taunt refreshes for things like LK P1 ghouls and P3 spirits and even Saurfang if you are for any reason below taunt hit cap. The threat siphon is pretty insignificant on all of those; get your rogues to give the MT one tott at the start for an early lead and you should be fine. For Saurfang in particular, it actually works out to be a wash because the threat he loses during his tank phase is threat you gain during your phase. If your MT's threat really is that weak, you can also burn some intervenes on your highest threat DPSers during your off phases of fights like Saurfang and Festergut, or during slime sprays on Rotface.
My belief (don't want to cross the alpha wall here) is that they are planning on increasing Ravage's coefficient. At some point, however, I'd imagine you'd run into threat problems. That's what'll kill it for PvE, with the exception of things that aren't tanked (think Bone Spikes). [/url])
I posted alpha patch notes which was dumb so they are removed.

@Vigil Mortis Its not my latency thats an issue its my frame rate but probably makes it six and one half dozen of the other which one is the bad stat. but yes that would probably explain some of it though i have had the odd times where i still do great dps even with bad frame rate.
If you know when bloodlust is going to be used, try to have mirror image be up during it - on the festergut in this log bloodlust was used towards the end of mirror image's duration.
Some quick math I did a while ago seemed to suggest that if bloodlust was used outside of execute range, mirror image could be used during bloodlust or during execute range for similar results. But if BL is used under 35% definitely have MI up for it.
Malleable goo is certainly the most prevalent factor in the linked fight, however.
Quite a few blue posts recently about this, nothing more to add to what's already been said here in this thread many times and there's nothing blizzard are saying that is going to save a great many 25 man raiding guilds already struggling for numbers, even now with the superior 25 loot incentive, from downsizing (imo).
I also run my WoW in it's own partition, and have had no problems with patching etc... However, I didn't install it on this machine, just copied it over from my old one so there's no registry for WoW to confuse the patcher. As Kevinally mentioned though, make sure you've admin rights to your game as well.
BTW, people have always just gone with hlid. My full nick looks too much like a faceroll for most folks. (Although it's legit, it's old Norse.)
I ended up re formating the games drive and re-installing which has fixed all my problems...well the wow related ones anyway
And yeah hlid i like the old norse names but your right they do look a bit like gold spaming names lol
And on a side note my account was hacked middle of last year after converting to the battle.net account and i recently discovered that i had about 30 lvl1 toons spread out across the US servers, damn they work fast lol
