You have your talents confused. Nature's Focus is just offers pushback protection on Wrath (amongst other spells). Celestial Focus affects pushback on Starfire (incidental honestly) and, more importantly, adds 3% haste.

As to pushback on Wrath/Starfire in raids, no it is not a problem. 3% haste on the other hand is important even at high haste levels. 400 haste is a soft cap for Moonkin -- not a hard cap -- and haste is still a very relevant throughput stat beyond that. Honestly you will see Moonkin at 800-1,000 haste and still spec'ing CF (unlike Restos who willl spec out of it once they hit 856).

Also, don't count on using Resto gear in the long run -- my primary spec is/was Resto prior to engaging HLK. At the very beginning of the transistion, there were some shared pieces, but a month or so in and I think I might share a ring between the two specs atm and that's it.

I didn't realize that, I had seen where it was said earlier to put it on the end if you start out with it, I just didn't understand why. Thanks for your feedback.

I was planning on following the standard procedure of getting the T10 4p while leaving out the pants which would be replaced by the Leggings of Woven Death, but just recently I received the Captain's Mittens from a battle ship hardmode and now I'm a bit indecisive.

Though I understand both options are open (gloves from battleship or crafted pants) the option of keeping the T10 pants seems to not be as interesting, though they are packed with hit rating which would free other equipment slots from that particular stat.

The crafted pants are drool worthy though, thus here I am, teetering.

Btw, I'm currently a demo warlock (Petrova, from Argent Dawn) with no plans of switching main specs.

I am in debate with a friend over the caster Crit cap.

What is the crit cap for casters? He says at fully buffed 50% crit is the cap. Any crit above 50% will add zero increase chance to land a successful crit. Only talents such as Arcane Potency, such as what the arcane mage, can add an increase of crit chance.

My fire mage has a raid buff crit chance of about 70%, He says that if given enough time my dps will show that i will crit at an average of 50% making the 20% extra completely worthless.

Please tell me the in's and out's of crit so that i can settle this debate once and for all.

Given that blood is going to be the tanking spec, and there is nothing other than "tank spec" and "dps spec" for DKs, frost is most certainly going to be a DPS spec for DKs. In fact, it appears likely the 2h DPS spec is going to remain Unholy and the dual-wield DPS spec is going to be frost. But I suppose that is subject to change.

IMO if you have the 277 gloves get the 4pc with legs. 277 well itemized item > 264 well itemized item. And as long as you can utilize the hit on the legs they aren't bad. If you can utilize the hit then they are very good!

My (admittedly vague) impression was that frost would be primarily a pvp/runic power-oriented spec and that unholy would far outstrip it while leveling (particularly with the pet) and generally during raiding as well. That was more of a sidenote on what weapon to jump for, though. Thanks for correcting my misinformation.

rather then read through the 60+ pages looking for what i need (rather lazy i know), the question i have is what should i gem for as arm pvp? i'm currently doing armor pen, but since the gear doesn't give much, the value is rather low. should i be gemmig for strength or armor pen?

Does anyone have numbers for a non-heroic BiS? short of t10.75, is 5/5 still optimal for deep fire?

I'm trying to decide which ring would be best for me. [Ring of Rotting Sinew](Rotting Ring of Sinew) or [Rotface's Rupturing Ring](Rotface's Rupturing Ring).

I'm over the hit cap and have 25 expertise with Rotting Ring of Sinew. I will still be over the hit cap if I switch to Rotface's Rupturing Ring, and will also be over the expertise cap, but I will lose a good amount of crit. Which ring should I be wearing?

Hmm... I think this will be most demanded build. Specifically for 10ppl raids without warriors.
But I guess glyphs will be changed soon

These are starting to happen on cho'gall... I'm happy they are becoming more popular. The only problem I have is I recently hit 80, and would like to do some of these for the gold, but I couldn't be one of the overgeared players that help carry the raid so I might not be wanted to tag along.
