Awesome, that's a good amount of stuff to start on, and you're right, I need to finish out my enchants. I'm thinking I'll target the Valithria 25 boots and neck and the Valkyr 25 bracers to get hit capped and expertise near-capped and see how things coalesce as I aim for that.

I just want an answer of 4pc or 2pc plz. Not really necessary to explain. (Unless you really want to..)

I have the 2pc atm, but I've only been doing Heroic LK for a little bit now and haven't killed him yet. I don't have any problems keeping the tanks up, I would suggest getting some mp5 though, I currently have 46k mana buffed and I use all of it. Not sure if anyone else that has downed him has something else to add

Solaces are very overbudget, which is partly why they are still the top trinkets to use and having more spell power isn't the best thing to gain.

At least in Cata there will be many Int trinkets to pick between, so it will be easier to know what are the best trinkets to use.
So would it be worth trying to get those two trinkets, or could you just get some Int trinkets and have gear with mp5. Atm that's what I have and I seem to have no issues with running low on mana.

hmmm Heroic Sharpened Twilight Scale > 264 Whispering... hmm. If it is its not by much. Plus the aP stat = not coming to Ret P, as priority.

Shadowmourne + Black Magic

I was just messing around when I got shadowmourne and put black magic on it and to my surprise I found out that it procs off of the shadow damage from chaos bane. While I doubt it would ever be better than berserking, I'm actually curious how far behind it is. I'm also wondering if we could utilize its full uptime, if it would actually surpass berserking.

250 Haste rating for 10 secs on a 35 sec ICD vs 400 AP and lowers armor by 5% for 15 secs on a 45 sec ICD. anyone want to do the number crunch for sake of fun? lol

Hi all, maybe my question could be stupid but i didn't still study all the changes; in your opinion isn't there any possibility to see a PVE Subtlety build?

The softcap is dependent on which ArP proc trinket you have in your possession which would result in a 100% ArP when procced:
- Mjolnir Runestone (Thorim 10HM) -> 665 ArP proc -> Softcap = 735
- Grim Toll (Naxx 25man) -> 612 ArP proc -> Softcap = 788
- Needle-Encrusted Scorpion (Devourer of Souls - FoS HC) -> 678 ArP proc -> Softcap = 722

You should first work on getting to the softcap for whichever trinket you get hold of. Afterwards, work on getting around 800-900 ArP without any ArP gemming. Only when you are around there should you start re-gemming all your gear to ArP gems to get as close as possible to 1400. Anything below 1200 really isn't worth it and above 1300 is where you will see the biggest benefits.

Hope this helps
In addition to all of this, if your right on the threshold of any of the softcaps above, don't be afraid to use: Hearty Rhino for 40 more ArP.

He's talking about BiS in slot gear, but I'd just sim both at the different levels.
Also, str/haste > str/crit in my book.

I can see where Awareness would come higher on some fights, especially when you have to move and I can't keep Hanged Man up. Regardless, that doesn't anwer my question. My question deals with ArP, which when it get's high enough (Now I'm told 800, which I'm 20 off) is when you start using SoA. Running sims aren't showing SoA as being a better choice, I'm so lost.

Well then, it may be because of other pieces of gear you have, perhaps your weapons, or your trinkets. In my opinion, there is no point where you can just switch based on a value or two. You really want to sim your gear at each point and upgrade, and that will find your point of switching.

Power Word Shield

Sorry to ask a dumb question but one of our guildies just leveled to 80 and is a disc priest and said that People are somehow able to put power word shield on multiple raid members at one time and she can't seem to figure out how this is done since PW:S has a cool down. If someone could help with this that would be great.

Thanks

Hard to figure out what you are asking.

One cast, one shield.

If the priest means, he has to wait 4 seconds before casting another shield than it sounds like the disc priest doesn't have the talent Soul Warding. This makes it so that you can cast a shield every GCD. (Assuming they have not been shielded recently)

No, this isn't possible. What we can do, however, is producing multiple Divine Aegis shields at one time. This happens if we use a multitarget spell such Divine Hymn, PoH or Holy Nova. Then for each of the targets where the spell crits, we produce a small Divine Aegis shield. That's probably what had her confused.

Regarding NG lissanna:
Haste caps and Nature’s Grace -- We’re addressing the haste situation in a few ways. We’re going to up the cast time of Wrath to 2.5, up from 2 sec base (so 2 sec after you get Starlight Wrath). This should help the clipping issues. In general, your haste and crit stats won’t be as inflated as they were in Wrath of the Lich King so it will be more unlikely for you to reach caps for those stats. However, we are also considering short term haste power gains to scale off of your existing haste values. What that means is that instead of just increasing your haste by 20%, it instead will increase the haste value on your paper doll (or rather, the sum of how much haste you have itemized) by a percentage. So the more haste you have, the stronger the effect of Nature’s Grace is.

ps: The link has a lot of good info with regards to eclipse intent, dps/rotation during movement as well.
