So i have been raiding surv since wotlk launch and have maintained high end dps constantly. Now that my hunter alt is in enough icc, icc heroic, and togc gear i feel that the transition over to arp MM is right for me. I recently blew 1 or 2k on arp gems n such getting arp capped and my dps dropped by 2 or 3k
I don't know if its just b/c i'm used to surv or if i dont quite understand what i'm doing with my MM rotation. I'm properly geared, specd, enchanted, etc so it's not as if i'm asking how to do the basics but here is my rotation and some things about my toon so that the general population can get an idea of what i'm working with. My pet is a wolf, i'm the cookie cutter 7/xx/7 build with armor pen cap, and i follow several top hunter's advice on how to properly use a MM rotation. I took arcane shot out of my rotation for non mobile combat and here is the priority system i'm doing so far
1. Serpent Sting (Opener)
2. Chimera Shot (Silencing Shot macrod in b/c its off gcd)
3. Aimed Shot / Multi Shot if multiple mobs (Silencing Shot macrod in b/c its off gcd)
4. Steady Shot spam
(Kill Command tossed into rotation when CS / AS are on cd right b4 i start SS spamming)
I also make sure that I am tracking the proper mob before hand so that I can gain the 5% damage increased from survival talents.
I'm truly at a loss for ideas to increase my dps. Any and all tips would be greatly appreciated.
