With respect to autoattacks and mutilates, the probability of proccing invigoration does not depend on which hand has the slow weapon. However when you look at envenoms, fast/slow pulls ahead.
- In case of slow/fast, envenom itself can proc invigoration and IP proc can proc it as well. The chance to proc invigoration is 1.8/60 and you get 1+0.58=1.58 times to apply it both from envenom and the IP proc. So the total chance to proc invigoration from an envenom is 4.74%.
- In case of fast/slow, you still have the chance to proc invigoration from envenom itself and you then two chances to proc invigoration from DP refresh and the corresponding IP proc (both measured at the PPM rate of the hand that applied it). Tus you get 2.3 chances to apply the proc each with 1.4/60 rate for a total of 5.37%.
Thus fast/slow pulls ahead in terms of invigoration procs as well. So unless you are running in a situation of excessive invigoration procs where refreshes reduce energy gains, Heartpierce in the offhand should work better. However from practical point of view, you are doing about 50 envenoms in a 5 minute fight, so a difference of 0.63% proc chance results in a "whopping" 0.32 proc increase per fight, which you will never notice.
|
This conclusion seems when i'm using Heartpierce fast/slow will be better.
but , if i want use TAiaj , fast/slow still the better one? or it will become slow/fast ? or TAiaj doesn't matter?
p.s. sry about my poor English ,

From playing both a rogue and hunter, I can imagine a couple of things:
- some reactive abilities requiring Focus should not be a problem: we should know to keep some reserves for when the beast doesn't hit the wall, but something squishier.
- some abilities may have a CD, instead of or on top of the focus cost. Rogue's Kick has both a CD and a cost.
- When playing my combat rogue, the focus is not on burning CDs (that gameplay has turnod me off hunters and spriests big time), but on managing Combo points and Energy, especially the buffs/debuffs you can "buy" with it. Combat rogues have to
+ maintain the Slice n' Dice self-buff,
+ maintain a DoT (name escapes me),
+ burn extra Energy with an Energy sink.
+ manage a handful of non-combo point related, energy-seeping CDs (blade flurry, adrenaline, trinkets, killing spree)
+ use specific abilities (disarm, kick, blind, vanish...)
That's 3 combo/shots, and 3 non-combo/shot abilities, and a handful of special-case stuff. It does feel a little low for hunters, who do not have the extra worry of managing combo points and close quarters placement, though we do have a pet to worry about.

I though there was some instant heal with enough HP.

Hello guys , these two would be my best early talent structures into PVE for my rogue on Cataclysm
Option A) Assassination (31/3/7) WoW Talent Calculator - Sigrie
Filler talents of my choice gets to be 2/2 Deadly Momentum which seems handy for adds - related bosses (not to mention the increased healing period on recuperate) ; 2/2 quickening (increased healing and mobility in PVE sounds quite valuable to me) ; 3/3 Deadened Nerves ; 2/2 Camouflage( just used so i can have access to sub tier 2 talents and specc 2/3 into Opportunity)
Option B) Combat (7/31/3) WoW Talent Calculator - Sigrie
Filler talents of this option gets to be 2/2 Improved Recuperate (just for those times that a little more hp gaining would make the difference on staying alive) ; 2/2 Improved Sprint (always handy to have one more option in breaking Movement Impairing effects other than Vanish)
I am really looking forward into hearing from you , regarding the structure of those 2 PVE speccs , criticism included. Would love to hear your variating ideas on how those 2 speccs could possibly improve in terms of damage output & maximized raid utility.
Best Regards

I think you're underestimating the value of Murderous Intent by completely skipping over it for Deadened Nerves. The DPE of Backstabs in the MI "execute range" is substantial.

Can any one make me a clarification please.
On wowtal.com Primal Fury stated as [Gives you 50/100% chance to gain 5 rage anytime tou get a critical srike while in bear or direbear form]
Is it true? Does this mean's that we will be crittable in feral bear?
As far as i remmeber Blizz stated, that Def stance, Righnous Fury and Direbear form will have innate [uncrittable by mobs]

Those +5 rage procs from your critical strikes, not critical strikes that hit you. It has been like this for ages.

Considering how easily accessible it was to all shaman specs, Ancestral Swiftness was an extremely powerful talent. If anything, the insta-cast ghost wolf effect could either become baseline, or it may become a glyph of some kind (perhaps one of those new-fangled "medium" glyphs, or majors as they want to call them now).
As of this beta build, I'm favoring a 34/2/5 with points in Unrelenting Storm over Elemental Warding; in the event mana becomes an issue, points could be shifted into Improved Shields or Ancestral Knowledge. Ancestral Knowledge would prove to be valuable if we run into another Vezax-style encounter.
But being this is beta, all of this is subject to change.

From looking at the talent trees on WoWtal it is impossible for MM to get LnL as it is an 11 point talent in SV
Sorry new to this forum - don't know how to delete my posts

Hey guys,
I love this spreadsheet, but the Office2010 problem is really annoying... does anyone have a 'fixed' version they could post please?
Many thanks!

Depending on the availability of replenishment, Ret may be able to free up a talent point or two by only going 1/3 or 2/3 in JotW since the self mana regen doesnt scale with how many points you can put in.

Judgement of the Wise as talent is gone, instead there is a single talent on this position which will provide the raidwide replenishment buff. Selfmanaregeneration is provided through a passive ability called Divine Purpose, which will regenerate 40% Basemana over 10 seconds while judging.
This makes your suggestion unnecessary as mentioned above in many postings.
