To be honest, I think PVP is something that really needs to be paid attention to. As much as I enjoy raiding and the PVE element, the PVP part of the game has imo become a drastically bigger part given that we're at the end of this expansion and really, how many toons can you stand to level at this stage? They will find a way to bring all classes in relative balance and competitiveness in DPS in PVE. But PVP is going to expand into battlegrounds more in Cataclysm and they have struggled to find a PVE/PVP balance, especially with Rets. Giving us Rebuke is nice, but we don't have a gap closer, a healing debuff, immunity to fears/sap/stuns and now the inability to dispel magic. Can you see going up against a frost mage, lock or druid without those tools and lasting longer enough to getting cc chained or blown up rather quickly? Damage buffs are fine and dandy and I welcome this Holy Power system to make our rotation more challenging than FCFS but I think keeping an eye on what it does in PVP is really going to be vital. Ret is hardly viable as anything other than a support class currently and it doesn't seem like we're going to be getting much help. Still, it's early but I would really like them to pay attention to this. My 2 cents...

Is anyone else disappointed with the current talent changes for a shadow priest

tbh feels like a bit of a bandaid... and is doing the opposite of blizzards mission statement of avoiding locking people into taking dps talents.

eg. WoW Talent Calculator - Sigrie
all needed dps talents and we have one point to play with doesn't feel very customizable. There is still a lot of work to be done i feel.

This way every time you hold Alt, it'll also show the tooltip for Fireball, and when using your Alt modifier, it won't give you the text warning saying "Another action is in process", as with your current macro, using the Alt modifier would attempt to use Fireball aswell as Frost Bolt.

Minor technicalities
Ah thank you. Good to know

Judgement

Hello,

Im not on Beta .

Because this i would like to ask: If the talent for reduced judgement cooldown is gone, what cooldown have now our judgement.

If 10s as orginally had, than we cant use it as normal 1st filler in every 9s rotation.
If less than 10s, how is our manareg on judgement working if the next judgement comes before the 10s manareg is still active?

Tnx

Judgement currently has an 8 second cooldown. The JotW buff lasts for 10 seconds, so you have a 2 second window to refresh the buff to keep it from falling off (typically you'll cast Judgement every 9 seconds which is every 6 GCDs). Judging more often than every 10 seconds doesn't give you any extra mana back, it just makes it easier to fit it into the rotation.

Tnx.

So to get the full 40% manareg from judge i need at least 10% haste. Is this haste almost there from Judgement of the Pure? Or The haste from this talent have no influence on the extra tick?

As far as I'm aware, you don't need 10% haste to benefit from the full 40% mana regen, you need 10% haste to benefit from one extra tick of mana regen.

Maybe im wrong, but if the judge make a manaregen which have a time of 10s and we get mana back by every tick, than if i cast judge in every 9 sec i loose 1 tick pro judge. So i have 9 ticks which equals just 36% manager. So i need to get the 10 ticks in 9 sec for the full 40% manareg.

but maybe im wrong

Hit vs. Arp

I got heroic DBW a couple weeks ago and have been going back and forth on this now for a while. Rawr tells me to gem for arp until the cap, yet if I do that, my hit goes down to 185. I feel like with my hit that low, it would be bad considering I am already under the exp cap. Should I keep my gemming how it is now until I can get a sharpened twilight scale or should I gem and get to the arp cap and leave my hit almost 100 points below cap.

Should I go for Combat?
Thats what I was asking myself the past days. I got now Bloodvenom Blade(nh) and Scourgeborne Waraxe(h) which are obvious better weapons then my Heartpierce(nh) and Flesh-Carving Scalpel(nh). Since I got now better weapons for Combat is it better to go for it?
That are my stats:

full arp gemming

haste and atp+haste gemming

Both without buffs
armory The World of Warcraft Armory - Anelej @ Dun Morogh - Profile

I would really appreciate it, if anyone could help me out here!

I'm kinda confused here. I'm using AskMrRobut spreadsheet for DK what's better. And last I've come across this HWT vs WFS.

I fail to see for some reason that it is superior than WFS cause for warriors WFS goes ahead abit. Confusing... so how accurate is this spreadshit when it comes for stuff like this asside from the obvious comparisons from other pieces of gear.

Here's a screenie.

I have always been under the impression that in a combat spec you dont need any expertise, but the blue gem on aldriana's armory tells me diferent, so, my question is, how does expertise affect combat and how much should we aim for?

thanks in advance!
