Not a lot of discussion on here about the new Haste trinket in Ruby Sanc. I'm sure we all know that its better than DFO based on no ramp-up time etc. But Is wearing DFO(277) and Heroic Ruby sanc trinket better than DFO/Phalac ?? At this point we'll be easily over 1200haste but with our dots not scaling with all the haste is it worth it? I can't find much argument on which combo would push the most dps @.@
This might sound a bit like "hand-holding" but i think its more of a debate starter ?
If i am to understand (and by any means please correct me if i am incorrect) the critical strike chance cap is at, or very close to 70%. My hunter is MM gemed purely agility or agility/crit (where set bonus allows) and unbuffed sits at 60.04% crit chance. With full raid buffs i jump up to 70% crit chance, which means that two/three of my DBW procs give a useless stat (not attack power from 600 agility).
My question is, should i change my geming style, instead of +20 agility gems, to be +40 AP/+20 ArP gems to lower my crit chance? Which gem would work better? Or should i change it at all?
Hunters don't fall in the same category as melee classes. Our hit table is much different - there's no dodge, parry or glancing (we do have block tho if attacking from the front). That means that our cap comes at 104.6 (not 100% sure about the number) if attacking a target, 3 levels higher than the hunter, or 100% if you attack a target at your level. And with the current gear, I am not sure if you can come close to that. Sure, some abilities, such as Kill Shot for a Surv hunter (with the right amount of procs) hit the crit cap, and maybe Aimed shot for a MM hunter (with the TSA glyph) can get close, but that's about it.
I'm not great theorycrafter, so I have one question about healing at Valithria Dreamwalker. I can see, You use on her method of healing: riptide, healing wave, healing wave, healing wave... Is it simple mathematically method to calculate (approximately) difference between this method, and my method, which is: riptide, chain heal, healing wave, healing wave, and how significant is effect of T10 on each of this (call it) "rotations"??
It also matters the mechanic of who is affected. Is it an aura around the Regrowth target that moves with the target? Is it an effect that applies to the area around where the Regrowth target was when it procced but does not move with the target? Does it only affect those that were in the area at the time of the proc? Or does it affect any that move into the effect during its duration?
I asked that question 2 posts ago and it has already been answered by ttyl just 1 post above yours...
But I agree with you, I can see a lot of situations where even the small area can get handy. I expect the range to get extended a little though.
I am an Enhancement Shaman that is in need of any changes to prepare for Cataclysm. Any changes including; possible priority list shifts, any new spells to factor into my "rotation", and any changes in my needed stats on my gear so i can pick up the right gear immediately. Thank you for any assistance you can give
Is the current version of the spreadsheet broken? I ask because my hunter recently hit level 80 and I wanted to play around using the spreadsheet to figure some things out, but any time I hit any of the buttons in the spreadsheet I get a debugger page.
If it is not broken, can anyone confirm that it works properly in Excel 2010?
