Also talking on threat your iMangle does about 3% threat for 3 talent points. If you want to let threat go remove those 3 as well.

I don't know what you tank normally, but a high amount of threat is very nice when you are swiping packs and there are a lot of people aoe-ing.
Also you need all the threat you can get on Malygos (At times the rest of the raid does 200% damage = 200% threat of normal). I have seen some overagro's on that one.

At the moment you have a lot of talents not really needed or usable in tanking.
Primal tenacity is more of a pvp stat then pve. Predatory Instincts has no effect. I seldom use Demoralising Roar which makes Feral Aggression not that good either. I don't know how Infected wounds would work on raidbosses. I don't use it. Found this:
The attack-slowing effect works on bosses which aren't immune to disease.
So it will effect some bosses but not all making this talent not that good either.

The best pure tanking build I can think of is the following:
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
The one point in shredding attacks is an extra point that I don't really know how to place.

Yah I assumed that Predatory Instincts worked in bear too. Now that I read it again, it really only implies cat. Yah totally bone headed the whole post I made.

Is it just me or does it seem that if you wanted to purely bear tank that are talents dont seem distributed correctly?

More space, more hotkeys, more toogle, 2 colors, 1 texture, 1 font, 1 scale (c)

Much work around lua coding here: oUF unitframes, custom made minimap, many small tweaks and addon changes.
Any suggestions and feedback? Would be great to hear it.

P.S. And sorry for cyrillic letters on screenshots :<
amazing ui. will definately be stealing a few ideas from this! What are you using to show the aura and buttons cooldowns? a modifed omnicc or is there an option within omnicc that allows you to reposition?

edit : got it! just had to modify omnicc

I'm at a lost of words for Ele at this point. After Sunwell, it went all down hill. My question about rotations, is that, is it my rotation that I use, my gear or is it ele that makes me almost last every single time on the Dps chart? I mean my guild is top server, so its a competition for the top spot.

My Armory: The World of Warcraft Armory

I run a pretty standard rotation with the FS Glyph that doesn't becomed Consume, the rotation goes:
FS, LvB, CL, LB until LvB is up, LvB, CL, LB until... etc Renewing FS right before the third LvB.

Sorry if this is the wrong place, my question has mostly to do with rotations but yes, thanks for the future help.

This will be a cross-post in most of the class-specific subforums, sorry if it's wrong place to ask, but didn't find better.

I'm planning to organize pugs for 25-man raids (OS, VoA and possibly Nax) on regular basis and I would like to know stats of your friendly next door DK (dps) that can be useful in a raid. I don't want to be elitist, so let's say the person has already started doing heroics and some 10-man raids, but doesn't have the best gear he can get from it per slot. What stats should I expect from such DK?

These things are basic pieces of knowledge that you can get, for example, at wowwiki, or in the class-agnostic mechanic forums. But since you haven't done any research on your own before you ask people for help, you have no idea what you are even talking about. Since I'm a nice guy, I'll answer your questions so you can continue to avoid figuring anything out yourself.

The Defense cap is, indeed 540. The expertise dodge softcap is 6.5%. The expertise parry hardcap is around 15%. The melee special hit cap is 8%. The spell hit cap is 17%. The Dodge cap is around 88%, the Parry cap is around 42%, but you would need an infinite dodge and parry rating to get to the cap, as Diminishing Returns make the cap asymptotic.

The caps you are expected to reach before tanking any raid content are: the Defense Cap.
The caps you should be expected to reach coming out of Naxx25 are: the Expertise Dodge softcap, the Melee Hit cap.
Thank you. My apologies for breaking the rules.

i want to start raiding

I have a mage i have been tinkering with forever now, and am approaching 80. I have never really instanced with her but did do one the other night. My dps was poor (lvl 78 and 763 dps) and would like to know where to start looking to help build my mage? Most of the threads and posts go way beyond where I am at and after a bit have me more confused than ever. Currently I am specced fire and have been exclusively which I'm sure isn't helping my cause.
