Now you don't use the OB glyph? Glyph of Obliterate is a much larger dps gain than DnD as well. The standard glyphs for all Frost DKs across the board are what Consider posted in the OP: Obliterate, Howling Blast, and Frost Strike. There should be no deviation unless there are quirky fights (Yogg 0--- Anub HM25 come to mind)which required higher AoE output.

As for pre-potting concerns, has any tried different pots?

I assume 2 Potion of Speed - Spell - World of Warcraft is now optimum but what about Insane Strength Potion - Spell - World of Warcraft.

Would love to see some results vs the two.

e: the last time i remember trying 2 haste pots, I remember getting raged starved somewhere in the middle of the 15 seconds, which leads me to believe that the Insane Strength Potion - Spell - World of Warcraft increase in strength would just increase the output, rather put stress on a rotation not worrying as much with rage.

e: was also wondering if Dreamhunter's Carbine - Item - World of Warcraft could be bis since strength outweighs the others stats(assumed). The dodge can be reforged to haste. I am not sure how that weights to 284 ranged weapons, was just a thought.

Quick question about your unbelievable H LK parse from this week:
World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis

I could look through your abilities log/expression editor, but for a 15min fight that would be mind numbing and wouldn't tell the whole story. But, are you using an HB > Oblit rotation in P1 with adds? Also were you using HB in p3 (not soaking adds, but instead killing them)? 22k dps (17k dpse) is an outrageous parse and I'm just curious on how you were able to AoE effectively without pulling tons of threat/adds. Thanks.

These forums always seem to confuse me, Im a pretty sumple minded person, and was just curious on what Type of rotation MM hunters should be using right now. I feel as my dps isn't where it is uppose to be, so if someone could dumb down a little just help out my situation.

I am currently in all Sanctified gear, no heroic gear. I run with about 60% crit and was thinking about reforging that crit into some master points. Also, I am right at hit cam 8.2% and I seem to have the same talent tree as most that are pointing out which MM tree to go towards,

I currently rotate with "applaying SS" then I arcane down focus is needed to regen, I hit 2 Steady , Then chimera, then arcane down again the steadu back up , arcane to focus dump again, then 2 steady, then chimera and back to dumping arcane and steady shot to regen my focus. Is this a bad rotation or should I be doing something else. Some of the hunters I have seen are doing about 1-3k more dps than I and they are in the same gear, however they reforged a bit to get the MM mastery points up. Any input would help..."a tree" a shot rotation or anything. I am pretty much too dumb to do the math and really work at maxing out the DPS. any help would be apreciated here is what gear my hunter has, at the moment. The World of Warcraft Armory - Gibby @ Smolderthorn - Profile I can't currently log into the game but the Medallion of the horse i have "Encrusted Scorpian Needle"

kk, just gemmed 1 all stats, orange i did not remove and rest agi, was waay over capped in hit (444) so reforged a bit and no use geming more unless i want mor mastery (got 50% so wouldn't be something i do b4 cata i think) expertice capped, so i gues its pure agi, untill i loose some hit from gear pieces

tbh idk how to use formulator :S:S:S and what formulator, been trying to understand "rawr" but got some "holes" so stopped trying

Personally I'm using the rowan's rifle for the hit, although I only have the reg dreamhunter's carbine so I don't know if heroic would outweigh it. (I also have a heroic Stakethrower)

I didn't see these posted yet, so I figured I'd take the initiative. MMO champion data-mined some spell changes that seem to correspond with the hotfixes that went live last week:

Holy

* Holy Wrath base damage has been increased by 30%.
* Exorcism now scales from 15% of Spell Power or AP, down from 22.5%. Base damage increased by 30%.

Retribution

* Hammer of Wrath base damage has been increased by 300%. (That's from [ 1253.82 to 1385.8 ] to [ 4890.09 to 5404.84 ]
* Crusader Strike now deals 150% weapon damage, up from 120%.

These numbers definitely seem reasonable (i.e. they seem to closely match what I'm seeing on live personally). Hopefully they are useful to people doing number crunching.

EDIT: I just saw the numbers were posted in the Cataclysm thread a few days ago, my bad for the duplicate info.

Also the part about the stormstrike glyph is off too. It's still just critical strike chance, not nature damage. Although it's value did increase from 8% to 10% on the beta according to my testing.

MODIFIED. ORIGINAL QUESTION WAS ANSWERED and like a noob i didn't read it. That being said. my other question.

I picked up glyph of shocking today. Lowers gcd of shocks to 1sec, add this in with the new lava lash glyph, would this virtually negate the need to stack haste to maintain maximum wfury ppm, and use double wfury to keep that ppm at max?
I'm asking so i can know if its viable to stack agility now and ride the big hits from wfury as a significant alternative to haste builds?

(Also is wfury timers based on the weapons individually or as two separate cooldowns as of patch 4.0.1)

I've been doing my best to keep up with the 4.0 discussions in the multiple threads here, and I recently noticed that Aldriana posted that Mongoose is the ideal weapon enchant in his 4.0.1 Rogue FAQ thread. However, I'm curious is if this is true for both the MH and the OH or just the MH as I saw previously. I was under the impression that Black Magic was best for OH, so I hope to get this cleared up.

Seems like casting thorns while in bear form and not being taken out of form would make a lot of us happier with the current state of our bears aoe tanking ability. I wonder if there is any chance of Blizz changing that mechanic to not take us out of form when we cast thorns.
