Hey Draz, nice gear btw.

As for replacing leather for plate, I have had a dps increase, I fortunatley did come across some gear I had in the bank that was plate. Its safe to say that we have to focus on plate.

As for regem/reforge: I did take your advice into consideration; I reforged to haste on what I could and Hit on what I could, basically reduce crit to either haste or hit depending on the peice of gear.

I did regem to expertise, 24/24.

Gems Im currently using are:
10expertise-10 hit
10 strength-10 crit
20 expertise
20 hit
20 strenght

I think those will do the trick.

As for dps on dummy removing mastery to haste was the way to go 100%. Dps increased to a constant 9.5k and 11k peaks.

Im still trying the same BT-RB-HS rotation, but on my best atempts I went something like this.
(asuming we dont have a warrior tank)
BT-RB-HS(slam procc..almost always) recklesness, blood fury, DW-RB-BT-HS-HT-BT-RB-HS...I also tend to try and watch that when BT is on cd, HS is used, and vice a versa, that way I wont go rage starved and we have some auto attacks in there generating rage.
sauders do give us a dps increase and HT applies one stck, the reason I dont do HT after first rotation cycle is that it costs rage and it doesnt build up any, however, it has a chance to enrage you. I also have a nice macro for rage and those moments where you arent enraged

/cast berserker rage
/cast battle shout

basic conclusion:
plate gear
27% hit cap
reforge to haste/hit
expertise cap
----------------------------

thanks for your input and let me know how you did on the raid, Im also going to try and post some parses for tonights raid. I will also copy down my stats so that you guys have a general idea.

In roughly five minutes of autoattacking with him and his pet nuking the dummy, I did not get a single CP. I seem to remember that HAT was bugged once before where you would only get CP from it if you had 2 points and not 3, so I decided to test if it was a similar bug. I asked a guildmember to help me out and we met up at the equivalent dummy in SW. I decided to double check befor repseccing to 2/3 HAT so we repeated the procedure, and now HAT was working as intended with CPs ticking in every 2 seconds pretty much like clockwork. I should mention here that the guildmember who helped me out was also a hunter of similar gear levels. I did absolutely nothing that should have any effect on the functionality of HAT between the two dummy tests. I neither respecced nor relogged and I am 100% sure that both hunters were attacking the same dummy as me. The only thing I did was switch to the SW dummy.

Does this make any sense at all?
Very strange. HaT actually seems to be producing ridiculous amounts of CPs in raids to the point where I suspect it has reverted to its days of glory (and therefore not working as intended). For example this recent parse shows a sub rogue doing massive damage with most of it from Evis (117 eviscerates in a 204s fight....):

World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis

Makes me wonder if HaT is bugged and if it is - if you wanted to have fun with it - I guess it would be sensible to spec Coup de Gras, go for mastery and use evis glyph then enjoy your evis spam. Would be interested to hear if this is confirmed to be happening - certainly WoL shows great evidence of this and the link above is not an exception.

I was looking at spell id 70691. You're also right, it also seems like haste has no effect as entering in that spell id into the Log Browser shows 3 second intervals between ticks, although the Rejuvenation lasts 15 seconds not the 12 seconds of a casted Rejuvenation.
Sorry guys first post for me on EJ.
Is it normal that Rejuvenation always crit?
The same seems to be for WG and LB.

Tnx.

Someone tested is on PTS - bug is here.

2. How is ‘ranged weapon damage' calculated in our Specials and Wild Quiver? DPS * Weapon Speed?
Ranged weapon damage = damage per shot (from weapon tooltip) + RAP / 14 * base weapon speed
Haste rating, ranged haste etc. do not affect it. They merely make shots happen faster, not reducing per shot damage.

Stamina is now a stat to be included in disc priests requirements. It will not be high on the list, but currently divine aegis caps are dependant on the priests spellpower, unfortunately mastery does not affect divine aegis. From memory mine is capping at about 6600.

Expertise

I have heard from some people that new expertise cap as per patch 4.0 is 22(instead of 26)? Can anyone confirm this?

What do you mean here? Stamina always was on the list as "nice to have". But would you trade another stat for it?

I decided to test the difference in stacking Crit vs stacking Haste earlier today.
I ran 3 timed runs on a level 83 dummy, 10 minutes in length with these Unbuffed stats (before Battle Shout);
5197 AP
18.69% Haste
27.09% Hit
40.34% crit
22/25 Expertise (173 rating)
8 Mastery
Hey Draz, just wanna confirm. Is the new exp cap since 4.0 is 22 instead of 26? Or you are below exp cap for that test

Sweet Spot

I remember TBC hunters had a haste sweet spot so as to not clip steady shots. Is there a certain amount of haste that might be considered a sweet spot for smoother rotations? I'm sitting at 22ish% haste and that seems awfully high.

Yes, it has been confirmed that the new expertise cap is 22, or 172 rating. You can see all the tests in the cataclysm changes thread.

Hello,

I have a question about setting up Clcret. I'm hesitant to ask it in the appropriate thread, because it might interrupt the ongoing clcinfo discussion going on in there, so I'll ask it here.

Apart from setting up the rotation icon and the next-in-line icon, clcret also has the ability to set up debuff/aura/cooldown icons. Only the problem I have with that is that is needs some extensive knowledge about the internal codes, exact names, buff/debuff/cooldown class and so on.

Is there a list or site somewhere where all those abilities are listed, so I can implement them? I searched the clcret thread, but couldn't seem to find it.

greetings

22 is the expertise soft cap as of right now. But it may just be a bug as the tool tip doesn't reflect this. Just wanted to mention I did Blood Queen HM 25 the other night and was getting 97K execute crits. I had the bite buff of course but it was still so sweet to see.
