Ranged weapon damage = damage per shot (from weapon tooltip) + RAP / 14 * base weapon speed
Haste rating, ranged haste etc. do not affect it. They merely make shots happen faster, not reducing per shot damage.

Are the people that are posting pro haste MMS things taking into account the length of the fight? I have not seen the time on these. Given the inputs and the way mastery is supposed to work suggests that stats will scale differently over a length of time. On shorter fights haste will smoke no question. If you run a sim for say 2-3 minutes it will distort the results in favor of haste...no? I've looked at some WoL of HLK sorts of guilds and the fights are not lasting longer than about 2 1/2 min or so.
I love how infractions are on these forums. I ask a pretty straight forward question and I get an infraction for it. First off IMO this is way overboard, it's about a GAME and a forum Q&A I do not believe my question was answered from the FAQs and I was not looking for anyone to hold my hand. See I had a curiousity about crit rating because itreally is not covered in EP values that are posted for rogues. I have copy and pasted a portion of the EP values and if you notice even ALDRINA (however you spell the name) says this is a "crude estimate". Now my post was days after the "CRUDE estimate" so I thought maybe someone found some differences while raiding or working on a target dummy. Below is a partial copy and paste of Rogue FAQs EP values.
What stats are good?
Agi is probably your best stat. Haste is probably pretty good as well. You will likely be short on hit. Current theory is that you want to get all socket bonuses, socketing agi, agi/haste, and agi/hit to match the socket bonuses. Crit is probably weak-ish for all specs right now, particularly for Assassination.
In terms of an incredibly crude estimate of the relative value of stats (and no, I don't have numbers for Sub, so don't ask):

The only reason it's questionable right now is because we are casting slightly less Rejuvenations than we did before, and that it's currently bugged to provide the old Rejuvenation. I would recommend keeping it, personally, unless you have a lot of extra haste gear or something.
Prior to the recent (4.01) patch, I had macros set for my DK's strikes to add Rune Strike when available. These all worked fine before the patch. After the patch they seem to be nonfunctional. Similarly, My hunters "kill command and Silencing shot" macros stopped working. Other macros seem to have survived the patch functionally. Has there been a change in the Macro format or am I the only one that has this problem?
