I've tried searching all over the place and I couldn't find an arcane/frost pvp build (updated to 4.0.1 anyway) so I tried my nooby-best and this is what I came up with.. The World of Warcraft Armory

Just wondering if this is feasible and what kind of rotation/glyphs I'd have.. and if this is crap, is there any info I can find for a build like this?

I am no PvP expert, but the built you linked is not even remotely possible. At level 80, you only have 36 points, and you must put 31 of them into your primary tree before you can put any in other trees. I would suggest going to wowhead and playing around with its talent calculator.

For ret: normal Death's Verdict/Choice vs Herkuml War Token, which is better (assuming still over the haste soft cap)?

Some melee classes/forms have innate threat modifiers, e.g Rogues/Cat is -29%, Warrior Battle stance and DK Blood/Unholy is -20%, so going Cat and using Cower will most likely not kill you.

i got a question concerning statting / reforging for ASSASSINATION.

As the ep values show crit (1.5) is worse than whitehit (1.8).

Is it right to reforge the crit of "crit/haste items" into hit still above spellhit cap ?

thnx

That was the commonly held best idea back when I reforged on the second day of the patch, although I believe I saw something recently saying that Mastery might be a better way to go after some more calculations. See if you can find a post of Aldriana's saying that, I'm pretty sure that's where I read it.

Just a few questions !!

1. DW, should i have as slow weapons as i can in both hands (2.60) or one slow and one fast?
2. should i go mastery all the way or mix it up with haste as of now i have 509/15.52 haste and mastery 12.10/188 - 24%
3. Hit, only Cap special attacks and ignore rest or go for normal attack aswell like Warrior does , as of now i have 16.5% miss chance for normal attacks vs lvl 83 !

Hey guys,
I'm dps'ing as frost quite a long time now, even before patch 4.0.1. After reading through most of the comments here (hope I didn't skip a post relying to my question) it's easy to get used to the new playstyle of frost, though it didn't really change much. My question is: how do you guys open up a bossfight?
Before the patch I played with arp-cap and just applied deseases, used BT/UA macro, used obliterate and bloodstrike and usually ERW'd immediatedly, worked just fine. Now it seems to be more complicated. Any solutions?

Copying this over from MMO-C since I think it'll have a better understanding over here.

Has anyone really tested these out? I was averaging 9.1k on a dummy with Fleshrending (no other debuffs on it) and did a quick 3mil test with the PvP gloves getting 9.7k (again no debuffs).

It would be nice if others can offer some constructive feedback/tests to help confirm in the PvP gloves are better and it wasnt just RNG (I had a low crit % with TV and CS both being low 30s when my tooltip says 29%).

Before anyone says RNG, the point of this post is to get more tests done with different gear levels.

I did some quick math with 'current stat weights' I think I did it right with the conversions if not someone please note it.

For Fleshrending:
+17 strength (+1 for the actual item +10 for socket +6 for bonus)
+23 crit or 33 (yellow socket)
+74 haste or 84 (yellow socket)

For Wrathful
+5% CS damage

Lets say you can keep your haste cap: Fleshrending's 74 haste is all of a sudden not that amazing, effectively turning into 31.82 strength (according to CURRENT stat weights), and 25.41 strength for the crit conversion (again according to current stat weights). So for simplicity sake we'll add them together for 57.23 strength, rounding down to 57. Of course they wont act like strength so 114 ap.

Does 114 AP and 17 strenght beat out 5% more CS damage?

"By using the GoRebuke and macros to attempt a Rebuke"

What exactly is GoRebuke?

Is it an addon? I searched around and I didn't find anything.

Is there any currently working addon to easily add rebuke to all attacks (without the need of macros)?

Thank you and keep up the good work. This thread is awesome to say the least.

[Glyph of Rebuke], reduces the mana cost of the ability to 0, and no, you need to add rebuke to your macros, it's not that hard, you should have them already with /startattack anyway

Thank you very much for the reply.

Yes I am already using macros with start attack and rebuke. The way I read it GoRebuke, it sounded like an addon name to me and thought i'd ask. Hehe kinda funny ^^

My macros UI is already full, so anything that would allow me to reduce them is helpful.

WTB more macros space ^^

Thank you again

Super Duper Macro : WoWInterface Downloads : Miscellaneous

I'm not sure if it works still, but it allows you to create as many macros as you want with more than 255 characters.
