I didn't know where to put these, as there is no clear indication on where these changes were applied.

However...



Holy

* Holy Radiance's effectiveness now diminish on targets farther than x yards away.
* Divine Light base healing has been increased by 30%. From 8538-9512 to 11100-12366
* Holy Wrath now scales from 61% of SpellPower, up from 30%. Base damage reduced by 22%, from 3122 to 2435.

* Exorcism now scales from 34.4% of SpellPower or AP, up from 15%. Base damage increased by 15% from 2343 to 2741.

* Flash of Light base healing has been increased by 30%. From 5313-5961 to 6907-7750.
* Lay on Hands no longer restores mana.
* Holy Light base healing has been increased by 30%. From 3202-3567 to 4162-4637.
* Beacon of Light now lasts 5 min, up from 1 min.
* Mastery: Illuminated Healing now absorbs 10% of the amount healed, up from 8%. Now lasts 8 sec, up from 6 sec. Each point of mastery increases the absorb amount by an additional 1.25%, up from 1%.
* Holy Shock base healing has been increased by 30%. From 3033-3285 to 3943-4271.


Retribution

* Templar's Verdict now deals 235% weapon damage with 3 Holy Power, up from 225%.

* Hammer of Wrath base damage has been reduced by 22%. From 4890-5404 to 3814-4215.

* Seal of Truth now scales from 12.85% of Attack Power and Spell Power (up from 12.5%) but now deals 15% weapon damage when stacked 5 times. Down from 16%.

* Crusader Strike now deals 115% weapon damage, down from 150%.



Protection

* Avenger's Shield now has a 15 sec cooldown, down from 24 sec.
* Shield of the Templar no longer reduces the cooldown of Avenger's Shield. Now allows your Divine Plea to generate 1/2/3 Holy Power.
* Guarded by the Light now increases Word of Glory by 15/30%, down from 30/60%.
* Wrath of the Lightbringer now increases the damage of Crusader Strike by 50% at Rank 1, up from 30%. (Not sure if the plan is to make it a single rank, or a 2 Ranks 50/100%, seems bugged)
Highlighted the most interesting changes related to Retribution....First thought goes easily on LOH, no mana anymore? Seriously? Didn't they already lower our survivability beyond incredible....
Holy Wrath change could be a slight buff in the long run, Exorcism is definitely a buff. Templar's Verdict is a slight buff too, but the rest is odd...Ok, HoW was in need of a slight nerf, but CS was taken down badly: from 150% to 115%. Seal of Truth is mostly unchanged.

Don't know, I have a bad feeling about this when remembering about subsequent nerfs that, just after vanilla launch, totally cropped the tree. I hope they don't go down this road again.

New Cataclysm beta build from MMO Champion:

* Unholy Might now increases your Strength by 10%, down from 15%.
This should probably put strength and haste just about equal, but I'll let someone qualified do the math.

I believe it also means hurricane, with 450 haste for 12 seconds might actually be better than Fallen Crusader (10% for 15 seconds) until you get decent heroic level gear.

Well, according to MMO-Champ, those changes are a part of Cataclysm Beta - Build 13221. They should have nothing to do with the current, 4.0.1 Live environment.

Hello you, hello forums, first time poster here as well :P

@ As someone have posted a few pages back, best one is of course from lk25, second should be bloodfall and than distand land as third. Its probably becouse of high base stats that allow you to use more points into mastery rating. Higher agility is quite nice as well.

And my real reason to post:
Which trinkets would you use on your cats now? Even though i got a quite few 25hc items (can dish up to 17k dps now) i am still sitting at Greatness + Scorpion. Which one should i aim for now, assuming i am raiding 25hc only so no chance for DC and pretty much no way for DBW? Should i buy Herkuml War Totem to replace one of my current ones? Would be really greatful for any ideas You can check my gear clicking a link under avatar if that depends on my current items.

According to MAX DPS Cat Beta you should go for DBW HC (since you raid 25HC) and the War Token.
If you somehow miss a raid you could try to get the Deathwhisper 10man Trinket.

If DBW isn't dropping you could still use the Scorpion (just reforge the crit) and get the War Token.

No, those are very good socket bonuses. And this line from Grunge's post is pretty clear, not sure how you managed to have "trouble wrapping (your) head around" it.

As you can see the only time you do not want to match a socket bonus is if you're over spell hit cap with a blue +8ap Socket.

I would imagine the beta changes will go through either with 4.0.3 or with Cata launch.

Running with 76 exp (human with a mace/sword+GoT) I experienced 0 dodges with ~10000 weapon swings. I unfortunately cant find a way to lower it much more than that to find the 'true' cap for humans/dwarves.

i was wondering which ret trinkets are best to use with 4.01

I basically have a choice between

[Herkuml War Token]

[Darkmoon Card: Greatness] - str version of course

[Whispering Fanged Skull]

i would assume that now it would be clever to replace [Whispering Fanged Skull] with [Herkuml War Token] since haste is really good for us now. Is that correct?

I'm slightly worried about the changes to CS and a little less about HoW, but if its beta they must be balancing around Inquisition and whatever else we're getting as we level. I'm doing fairly competitive DPS on live at the moment as long as I'm playing my best which is a nice change of pace from pre-4.0.1 (even without any Rebuke macros).

Question in regards to this post after reading through

I have some questions from playing with my Fury warrior, in regards to all the information I read here.

First my stats on this character are as follows

AP = 4743
Haste = 13.69%
Hit = 12.36%
Crit = 44.25%
Exp = 23/23
Mastery = 8.54

I had initially got my Warrior to the 8% Hit cap that I read in other threads, but am now seeing in here, others saying that they go with 27%.

First I read through this post, and have seen my DPS increase quite a bit just by doing some basic things that were mentioned in this post, first being making the Macro that was previously mentioned and spamming that one, for my attacks. Just doing that increase my DPS alot, as I was doing around 3-4K in instances and now I am upward of 5-7K.

My current DPS with those stats on a Dummy was between 5K and 6K

I also did a run in VOA 10 and 25 Today, and actually got between 7-9 on the Named.

I am curious if I should start aiming to get my character to the 27% hit, and if so what order should I put my stat needs.

Right now my character is all Strength Gems

Here is WoW Armory - The World of Warcraft Armory - Gr�vdiger @ Uldaman - Profile

Right now most of my gear is Reforged to give me the Exp rating that I believed I needed as I think only 1 of my items had it off the bat. Doing that I gave up alot of Haste, is this a suggested option.

The Original Stat order I went by was Hit until Capped at 8% > Exp Until 26> then Crit and Haste

I did a small test myself and replaced my JCed Str gems the +34s with some +34 Hits to get my Hit up, but I actually saw a DPS loss on the next test I did with a dummy doing that.

I never previously got into all this calculations in stuff with my classes, but am really enjoying this Warrior and trying to get him up as best as I can.

Thanks for any advice yall can give me. This post has been a huge help to me.
