If expertise is the lowest on the stat weight does that mean I could have 7 expertise and still do the same damage per second as I do with around like 15 expertise? I’ve been looking at replacing my Heroic bone drake enameled boots ( 83 crit reforged to 33 haste and 60 expertise) with my blood soaked saronite stompers by doing so I lose 8 expertise which drops me to 7 from 15. I want to know if it is worth it to obtain all the extra haste from the boots and lose all the expertise.

If I already have 900 haste from gear, should I be gemming Strength as 2H?

Or do you gem the Haste/Strength stuff and reforge out the excess haste to mastery?

Expertise is absolutely the least valued stat, it is a dps gain to use your Saronite Stompers. Also, if I read that correctly you reforged your Crit into Haste, which is not the absolute highest dps gain you could get out of those, always try to reforge your expertise over any stat. Most higher end dk's run with 0 to less than 10 Expertise as unholy.

Just did a test at non- boss dummy to check how does mastery buff effect.333 avg ilvl 20 expertise %16 miss rate against 85 %15 crit and 1337 haste and %20 main gauche chance (16+4 2.33 mastery)
2.6 axe and 1.8 offhand dagger.
So I can say buff did indeed effect some dps, pre patch damage percentage of mg was around 1.5-1.8.Im thinking with better gear (unfortunately I couldnt copy a raid premade) main gauche has some potential, but again, as adressed on a post above it might become the new ArP.

At this point, the thing we need is poison crit chance scaling with melee crit chance.It would be a major overall buff.

I was just browsing thu the net while at work and got to thinking about, now that most of the gear for 5man content are set, would it be possible to already make a pre raid BiS list for the ones that wants to push rigth to raiding?

If i get the time ill look into it myself and maybe make a post about it, if the list isent already out there.

So what is the final conclusion is it worth Now ( not in Cata) to use a Rotation like LB->3xFFB->FB spam->refresh LB->1x FFB->FB spam and repeat??? Ofc use pyro at hotstreak.
Or should i just remain Classical Fb spam with pyrop at Hs etc.

My stats are 3660 Sp- 49.43%crit - 1062haste (notink spent in mastery)
What i understood FFb iz and will be lower then FB in future even with tons of mastery.

Corect me pls if i'm wrg.

For pre-raiding just farm HC's for 4xT10's , both trinks for JP , either Wrathful Sword or Tyranical beheader , 1x ring for JP , back for jp , sigil and waist for jp as well. And if i remember correclty there is a fine ilvl 232 wrist wich drops in either Pit of Saron or Forge of Souls. Feet - Blacksmithing ones. If you got gold second ring the BoE one wich drops in ICC. And you should be quite prepared now gearwise. Dishing out 10k dps on ice watcher atm only with gear i got for Justice Points.

well I was talking about gearing up for cata raids not icc, I migth not have been to clear about that.

so whats the best gear we can get from:

# Blackrock Caverns
# Grim Batol
# Halls of Origination
# The Stonecore
# Throne of Tides
# Skywall

and even crafted gear.

At the moment the FFB dot appears (in limited testing) to cost you more damage in munched ignites than it actually generates on its own, so I wouldn't bother trying to keep it up (and that's without considering the additional crit & hotstreaks lost due to not using fireball in those places).

The AoE rotation isn’t terribly different from the single target one:

Diseases > Dark Transformation > Death and Decay > SS if both Unholy and/or all Death runes are up > BB + IT if both pairs of Blood and Frost runes are up >

i cant use Dark Transformation after the Disease... DT is not beeing active without using 5xDC.. rotation wrong?
