Fury warriors prio on gems, reforging and rotation
Ive been playing the beta for a while and so far ive gotten to this conclusion:
Gems and reforging
1 - hit to soft kapp (8%)
2 - exp to 26
3 - Str
4 - hit to 27%
5 - crit
6 - haste
7 - mastery
Fury Rotation (prio):
CS - HS - RB - HS - BT
Have to add im not even 100% sure this is the right prio order on either rotation or gems/ reforging.
It´s just the feeling ive gotten after playing on the beta a while.
So would be gratefull for any tips.
I'm trying to figure out my dps problem, but alot of the stuff i've read here goes totally over my head.
In ICC i struggle to stay in the 7K dps range. I've regemmed, adjust stats, etc. etc, but i'm certainly doing
Your spec seems to be abit off and you should try out 2/31/3 if you insist on playing combat.
For gems you should be using delicate cardinals, deft ametrines, and glinting dreadstones in red, yellow and blue soclets respectively... you should then reforge crit to exp haste and then to white hit with whats left.
Also, im not sure why you reforged mastery as combat but atm on live its probably the weakest stat for a combat rogue so you should stay away from it at all costs..
Besides that, cant really tell what else is wrong from your armory but hopefully thats a step in the right direction.
Edit: also noticed your running about way to much as the current Exp cap on live is ~22 (i believe 172 exp without specilizations)
It sounds somehow "more beneficial" for raiding that the worgen racial envolves crit chance, even 1%, its a stat that is pure dps, instead of shadowmeld thats almost un-important for raiding environment, plus the double resistance racial passive ability.
It becomes handy when you aggro at ICC adds and they loose target (most of the times) if you shadowmeld...
Will it be free cost race change when cataclysm launches?
Forgive me if this answer has been posted already.
I'm a human dual wield Frost DK, I noticed in the Frost guide in this forum the weapons of choice were identical and offhand was slow and large top end damage. Should I be aiming for a slow offhand or a fast offhand?
I was thinking of using the wrathful gladiator weapons from the Veteran Arena Vendor and considering either
Patch 4.0.3a up on PTR as a release version. Seems our self healing is too good.
Death Strike now heals you for 25% (down from 30%) of the damage sustained during the preceding 5 sec, minimum of at least 7% (down from 10%) of your maximum health.
Rune Tap now heals you for 10% of your maximum health, down from 15%.
Does anyone have logs of raids in the beta? I've been looking for them everywhere, but to no avail. The warriors of the top guilds which have logs on World of Logs are all raiding as Fury (which is weird, since other classes have different specs raiding, such as Combat/Assasination and Arcane/Fire). Is Arms dps still so much behind?
I realize a lot of the fights are gimmicky and might be too early to make assumptions, but I'd just like to have an estimative on how Arms is doing currently.
Just logged into 4.0.3 (13287), the pre-Cata patch, and it seems like our Expertise cap is back up to 26. With 23 expertise I was seeing quite a lot of dodges on a target dummy, then re-forged back up to 26 and got no dodges on a 6mil test.
Safe to assume that the change to expertise was a bug that has now been corrected.
It wasn't a bug, it was a change to the points per rating and confirmed by a blue post. Unfortunately I can't link it since last time I did it I got banned. Can you post logs of your dodges with 23 expertise? I haven't seen any dodges yet.
