This might be a good place for a BiS list. I'll be working on a list myself which I'll post later, however if this work is already complete, post away.

What I'm looking for is a BiS in the following for each tree. I'm assuming we'll all have some debate on the value of mastery for each specialization so I'll include a mastery option piece if one exists for any slot.

A: Pre-raid BiS (Heroic 5-man.) (346ilvl)
B: BiS Normal Raid Gear. (359ilvl)
C: BiS Heroic Raid Gear. (372ilvl)

If anyone can think of another good way to go about this, or if you've done this already, please let me know.

This is incorrect. The HoT crits do proc the physical damage reduction buff from Ancestral Healing. I'm able to test it on live right now.

Without reading through every page of this thread, I was interested as to how badly combat is falling behind in cata / currently? Is it at all viable?

No, those 3 lvls took 9-10h on beta so around 20h on live would be my guess. Expect around a full day of leveling to reach 85 if you're somewhat fast. As for where to quest, choices are slim, I liked MH, Uldum and TH. Not too much of a fan of deepholme and vash'jir, but which one is better or worse I really can't tell.

I have my DPS leveling spec and glyphs sorted thanks to Consider's wonderful suggestions, however I am still looking for a suitable pre-raid Tanking spec for 5mans while leveling with mates.

Any suggestions? The 'Endgame Tanking' thread doesn't seem to allow pre-raid comments.

However I have one question, specifically about the 2H frost stat weights: How can haste be so horrible, since it was supposed to be big for that spec?

Delete this if it's just a typo, a sim mix-up, or something to be edited in the very near future.

Hi! So what im wondering here is whats the best professions for retripalas at the moment? Tailoring was said to be the best and leatherworking good second, but is that the case still?

So according to the spreadsheet, for affliction haste is better than hit on all levels. Did I miss something or (missing haunt would be an incredible loss)

I'd probably go something like this:
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

Enough utilities (AM, Parasites), AoE threat with Crimson Scourge.

Until we find out whether or not Lichborne spec is worth it, this is probably ideal for heroics where boss fights don't last for more than 1 minute.

Sup guys, will be starting a char from scratch for the first time in years (a rogue obviously) so I'm just looking for some basic advice here.

1. The best leveling spec is...? A link to a talent calculator would be much appreciated.
2. What poisons are the best to use while leveling?
3. What professions are recommended to level up while leveling? Is it best to take 2x gathering professions, cash in, and when you are 85 you'll powerlevel 2x crafting professions? In addition, which two professions are looking to be the best for rogues in endgame cata?
