I suppose I should have clarified a little better. I guess that what i meant to say was. Which stat's are less favorable. Such as how during the 4.0.x releases of the new abilities and such. Combat rogues were best off Reforging all Crit to Hit/Haste till Hit cap.

Always do 4+ rupture and Envenoms.
I try to do ruptures with as few CPs as possible which seems better cause rupture does shit damage. Rather use those CPs for envenom which hits harder and provides envenom buff-- and most of our damage comes from poison now with our mastery.

"[Left Eye of Rajh]" is this a good trinket for a Rogue to have? im reading the forums and it seems expertise is not high on the totem pole of stats to beef up, with that being said at least the agility buff is good, right?

Keep a steady +4 CP Rupture going is the best way to ensure maximum uptime at the lowest possible energy cost.
Hmm, I didn't think about the RS effect. I will try it.

Can someone dumb this down for me just a bit and tell me what my ideal stats and stat priority should be with a lvl 85 Draeni fury warrior? It would be much appreciated. :-)

Its been a few weeks since the OP said he would update (and no doubt he has been crazy busy this time of year), are there any tips on what my priority cycle should look like? I'm a forever disc priest trying to give the new Shadow some attention.
tedv in the shadow FAQ thread (post # 186) did a pretty good job of showing how complicated the shadow priest "rotation" has become. Basically there are so many overlapping and even a couple of contradictory interactions that it is going to take a long time to figure out what is optimal.

For right now (not being level 85 yet), my personal policy is not to worry so much. So far in the limited instances I have run, I have been top or very near the top on DPS. I am using dispersion and shadowfiend a LOT more than I used to, but I have not had any real mana problems (I have never run out of mana on any fight but on one boss fight I ended with 10% mana). On trash, I just do whatever I feel like doing: DoTs or MS or combo. And on bosses all the buff interactions eventually coalesce to maximum regardless of my "rotation".

Where is my mana?

I have a level 84 Arcane Mage with decent gear around 302. I have 53524 mana. I you want to see my spec and gear for my character just look at Jizzcranker on Stormscale.

I think my build is pretty good and feedback would be appreciated.

Before CATA I would almost never run out of mana, but in last week I have noticed I am consistently running out of mana in instances. While I quest I am pretty good with mana, but instances it's pretty bad and not just for the bosses.

I noticed that I have lost a lot of Spirit since 4.0 patch and I think that is what is killing me.

Is there bug or is this the way it suppose to be for mana usage? Should I be looking at gear with a little more Spirit vs another stat? Should I just not worry until I get to 85?

Thanks

I have read this post quite a few times and in regards to scorch weaving I definitely agree it's very useful. The question is now what is the most effective rotation.

Currently the one I use: Flame Orb (if it's up), Living Bomb, Scorch, Scorch, then Fireball till Living Bomb explodes (of course if Impact or Hot Streak procs that goes in followed by Combustion). I was wondering if only 1 scorch will suffice instead of 2 or if there is a better rotation that yields much higher DPS. For the most part I never run out of mana during a fight as long as I stick with this rotation.

Hey I'm a long time reader but first time poster.
First, thank you for your great work over the past weeks.
Now I have a question, I just noticed that the Destruction PreRaid Profile is the only one which is really Hit capped,
not even the T11 BiS Profile“s are at 17%.
Have I missed something or is that intentional?

I wonder what the general opinion of Tiny Abomination in a Jar is in regards to cataclysm. Its proc is based on 50% weapon. Has anyone run any tests to see what abilities proc motes?

Opposed to all three DoTs running with 5x Evanglism before Dark Archangel is activated and using a combination of Mind Blast and Mind Flay over the period of Archangel?

I'd like to find out how beneficial this is and will do some testing later if and when I get time.

actually after testing i can get 11k dps with the mind spike
but 12k dps with dots so im gonna stick to dots, although on the occasion Mind spike can be quite useful - i have hit a 36k with it, this was probably when all shadow orbs were active, 5x Evanglism + Archangel

but still test i guess you may have more luck than I
