I just started playing shadow since I hit 85 and it seems like no matter how hard I try I can never push my dps up to 10k, I am in some healing gear however but still when every hunter I see seems to be pulling at least 13k on every boss I get pretty annoyed. Does anyone have any answers?
A question about stat values: is it possible to get a relative value to weapon speed and weapon DPS? Typically, in my experience, it seems that these two are playing against each other rather than other stats, but I'm always unsure just how much of an increase in, for example, weapon DPS justifies moving from, let's say, a 3.8 speed weapon to a 3.3 speed weapon.
I think you should add to the macros in the guide, this 1 :
/cast Divine Plea
/cancelaura divine plea
it's pretty useful for 3 instant HP to heal urself when needed, I personally like to use it with Inquisition. build up 3 HP with CS/HotR pop up AW, Divine plea then SotR = 50% more holy dmg, or just use it pre-engage boss to instantly use SotR.
I know it's that important macro, but worth mentioning in the guide I think.
What is the difference damage wise between Frost Presence and Unholy Presence for DW Frost?
I currently run DW Frost in Unholy presence and can easily pull 13-15k on most fights. Whenever I switch over to Frost Presence I feel like my DPS drops significantly and its much harder to pull off decent DPS. The jump to 1.5 GCD is just brutal, as well as the slightly longer rune regen.
My iLevel is 344, so hardly top raiding gear, but my guild just started raiding. Does the difference between Frost and Unholy only start to show itself in Raiding Gear?
I am not shure about Blue Dragon. Its tooltip says about mp5 rule, that was removed in 4.0.1
Actually I do not see any notes regarding mp5 on that trinket. It says that it allows 100% mana regeneration, which can mean that the out of combat regen will become in combat regen for 15 sec. But I may be wrong on that one.
Reading posts about expertise cap, Im trying to reforge all gear to cap the expertise, when reached cap all to hit, I see rogues ignoring completly the expertise and reforging for hit to get the spell cap then they alll reforge mastery items to haste and haste items to mastery. What should I do? Ignore the expertise cap and try get the spell hit cap, and reforging to mastery/haste?
A have one question concerning chain lightning. When there is a mob in CC and I cast chain lightning into the mob group.
Is the Spell "intelligent" enough to prefer non CCed targets?
I am still at leveling and an Levels < 80 there is no CC, i just don't want to find how it works the hard way.
Thanks for the response. I already took Endless Winter over On a pale horse for obvious reasons. Gonna take 1 point out of Epidemic and put it into Virulence and will stick with hit food for those fights were I am on interrupting duty. Maybe some day blizz will fix it by taking Mind Freeze off the spellhit or making mind freeze glyph that does the same.
Can someone tell me how much Parry, dodge i need before i go to stacking up mastery? So is there any number like it was before for defense cap? i have 13.22% parry and 12.15 dodge and only 11.71 mastery[666 mastery raiting[+3.71] can i reforge some of my dodge or parry to mastery and what is that amount and do you sugest me to do that?
