What DOTS have priority above soulfire in a 0/41/30 spec?

Yeah we got nerfed bad I run out of mana so fast now its rediculous. Like we needed to get nerfed when melee dps is doing more damage already in the first place. Who should out damage a pure caster????!!!! Thats some Bull.......

How about getting some data into the thread instead of just nit picking about what fights are fair?

as 40/31 with both the 4 piece set bonus, and the new glyph of life tap im sitting at a constant 2750 spell damage when i life tap. The embroidery on my cloak procs alot which means self buffed im at roughly 3000 damage if i keep a lifetap in my rotation. This is nuts

I got no idea why my DPS is lame ( around 4k)
got 342 hit, 19 expertise, and really quite good gear - Any ideas why it is so low ? Maby bad rotation or ?

I'm new to the HaT spec and I'm trying to figure out the best build for it using Calamity/Murder as my weapons.

I understand 8/20/43 is best, but I'm not sure how to divy up the points in the Assassination and Combat trees as there seems to be a lot of debate. Could someone post a build?

I just switched too a 00/20/51 spec.

But I cant decide what Glyph's to take. Where as the other specs I have used have only a few really good options, deep Destruction seems to have many.

Glyph's im considering...

Imp (Took all the Imp Talents including Unholy Power, so this one is a must)
Conflag (Again a must for PvE)

The third one is where I cant decide.

Chaos Bolt/Incinerate/Life Tap

Hi 1st off I would loved to say after lot of testing from my personal experience 0/40/31 is the best so far even after nerf. I used like 200g now trying every spec in raids and At least for me it seems the best though didn't had gr8 glypths when tries afflition.

After that I never used lifetap glypth or 4 parts mainly cause could not find the dam thing and had gr8 other parts except tire and for now i have 2t8 bonous finally so not going to even bother about it. So far using Immorlate, Conflagrate , IMP but I will upgr8 to Incenerate i would think. Imp give like 120-150DPS depending atm for me from what i can see.

Also has anyone figured how gr8 the 2 t8 bonus is for 0/40/31 spec by any chance ? specially with 2t7 one? They seems to give so much dam +hit from t8 gloves+ chest i had to take all the +hit gearaway and that meant removing Leggings of the wanton spell caster for Hood of rationality as the only offset part.(got t8.5 chest+t8 gloves)

I redid both tests a couple of times to be sure that it wasn't because of some random proccs but I go the same results every time.

i ve been geared for ffb but i had to change some items that i could buy out etc. because i m playing as an arcane mage now and of course i have mana problems..i tried to switch to lower mana rotation but hell...then my dmg is really bad..i've been reading these forums and i have to say that i like the describes and mechanisms that you all wrote here and it's great but i would appreciate if someone could help me out on these matters..in ulduar 25 there are certain trashes and as i said if i do lower rota. then i cant keep up with the damage of other classes...i can tell that there are 2 or 3 mobs in a trash and if i spam AB,that's the only way to keep up and be 1. on trash or so..that's 5k dps so far or 4.7.This part wasn't that bad but what about the bosses? i can hardly do around 4k dps with ABx3 Abar or Mbar rotation until wipe or so.. and on top of that im OOM in 3 mins..that's really annoying.. there is much more in this spec and i m new to this and maybe noob too. :P i would appreciate some advise,help about bossfights because ulduar bossfights are so long .. about my gear i ve changed a lot of things to boost my sp and haste and not crit and thats all i could do about it..i do not have the proper gear..

Is corruption worth to cast in 0/40/31 ? It's not a waste of GCD?
