My spreadsheet shows that even at a 3 second CD it is superior to use 2 fillers on spellcasts (since they have a 1 second GCD). So you would remain at CS, Filler, Filler, CS. This does not devalue Haste in any fashion, it simply means pushing for this perfect cooldown should not effectively change your DPS sequence. It is possible this could be disproved via other modeling tools.

I tend to have a problem with the above statement, could be wrong but when using 2 fillers i tend to find myself running out of dps abilities to use (everything is on cd). So i'm sitting there smacking my head thinking wonderful and also i'm not building up holy power as fast as if i did only 1 filler. Yes i know i'm having to wait for cs to come off cd but even when waiting its only .50 sec even less if i get procs from hurricane. Everything just seems smoother going cs, filler, cs. Of course if exo procs, hammer is ready or mastery procs, it comes first in hw>exo>mastery but just seems like i'm running out of abilities with cs 2 filler cs and i'm caught sitting doing nothing, losing dps and holy power.

There have been a couple posts in the resto thread about following an Unleash Life with a cast time heal and then a Riptide and gaining the buff to the heal, the riptide and the riptide hot.
Has anyone looked into whether Unleash Flame is working similarily? If so, you could potentially use UF -> LvB -> FS and gain the bonus to Lava Burst, Flame Shock impact and the Flame Shock dot. And if this is the case, would that make it worth using while standing still?

Is there anything worthy buying for Valor Points (not tier), for example that hit+stacking agi trinket? What tier parts to buy?

So, to give perhaps a little more credit to stacking Crit...Crit will also increase mana regen through increasing damage of LB (when taking Telluric Currents 2/2) which will offset your inability to stack hit. So wouldn't crit be viable to stack depending on how much you actually get to LB in your rotation?

I disagree with your survival and threat stat priority.

For threat, crit isn't a stat that tanks would ever put on their gear as it's not as effective as hit, expertise or strength and doesn't directly help survivability. Although it likely provides more threat than Stamina, wouldn't Stamina be a better alternative because it does at least help you survive?

Expertise(26) > Hit(8%) > Strength > Stamina (I'm not sure where the hard cap of Expertise goes)

For your survival stat priority, how can you prioritize one survival stat over another when it's incredibly difficult to model survival in the first place? There are way too many variables to say that X amount of Stamina is greater than Y amount of Parry. I do agree that every fight has a minimum EH, and the easiest way to reach that point is to stack stamina, but tanks can probably reach that point in quest greens.

Certainly Parry should be greater/equal to Dodge but I don't think Parry would always exceed Mastery (until math has been done on the subject). I would guess that Mastery overtakes Parry at some point. Parry's value outside of Hold the Line diminishes while Mastery's value stays linear up until the combined total of your parry, dodge, block and miss equal or exceed 102.4% (which requires a lot of Mastery rating).

I wouldn't know how to handle the calculations but you could probably find where the damage reduced from X rating of parry becomes less than X amount of Mastery. Parry negates 100% of the damage while blocking reduces it by 30%. So to start, the point where Mastery rating exceeds parry rating is likely around the point when 30% of the block percentage gained from mastery rating equals or exceeds the parry percentage gained from parry rating. Then you would have to look at the effects of Hold the Line and the critical block chance gained from Mastery.

Chaotic shadowspirit diamond requires more blue than red gems, not two blue gems. I wouldnt say its worth taking over Ember shadowspirit diamond.

Using Redcape's stat values 50 AP enchant vs 65 crit/haste, ap one beats slightly, and when considering Exemplar's weight the 50 AP just wins by a good margin (in terms of relative str we get).
Assuming I am looking at the stat weights right the 50AP enchant is just over twice as good as the 65Crit and greater still than the haste enchant.

If I remember correctly then the game doesn't count the decimal percentage on stats such as crit or haste so the crit/haste enchant could possibly pull ahead when the little extra they provide would push your stat over a whole number, such as increasing crit from 9.9% to 10.1%.

1H Weapon Enchants

I wanted to ask advice about a suitable 1H weapon enchant at this stage and can't find anything with a search. The thinktank article gives Power Torrent, but the mats seem a bit excessive for a pre-raid blue. What are people enchanting with? The only options I can see are Hurricane or the old Mighty Spellpower. (Mighty intellect???)

Since it will be awhile before enchanting weapons with Landslide is realistic for all but the bleeding edge, what's a good 2nd best choice for weapon enchants? (Esp. for Assassination)

Unknown Proc / Holy

Can someone help me identify a proc that reduces my cast time by what seems around 50%.

It seems to happen after a Holy Shock, and I really notice when I cast Divine Light. Doesn't happen all the time, and can't figure out what causes it.
