I would like to see the math comparing the values of crit, haste and mastery under the following conditions:
Heal Chakra enabled
Renew on the tank
Serendipity pre-stacked to 2
· Heal x 4
· Holy Word
· Greater Heal x 2
· Flash Heal x 2
Currently I am prioritizing my stats as Int>Spi>Mas>Has>Cri, and ignoring the 12.5% haste plateau for an extra renew tick. The reason for this is that in most cases if renew is one of my major heals, it is being refreshed, thus making the plateau irrelevant. I am curious at which point stacking 1 point of haste would increase output more than 1 point of mastery, given that renew is constantly refreshed, and whether or not it would ever make sense to get a point of crit in this rotation. I would also like to see the mana cost difference per point of haste (mana cost per point of healing).
I see a lot of priests preaching to get 12.5% haste before stacking mastery, but I have to wonder if that is the most efficient way to gear up in early gear levels. Is this strictly for prayer of healing chakra? And is renew one of your top heals while in this chakra?
The 3% hit from NoCS doesn't apply to our ghoul, and thus because of the fact that our ghoul is such a large portion of our dps and because of the fact that the ghoul double dips into hit (since it also gots an equal percentage in expertise), on top of the obvious benefit of increased white damage and spell damage, it's still worth going to 8% even though, yes, main hand and yellow attacks are capped at 5%.
Ok thanks for that fast reply.
It is long time ago since I played as Unholy so forgot about the part that our Ghoul takes our hit rating (rounded down).
So that is clear for me now.
What is the optimal mastery to have for a dw frost death knight? or is it more important to get mastery to say 30% and then focus on crit?
Im also gonna add into here that is just a question cause im not 100% sure if crit is that important to a dw frost dk yet, currently my Hit is 1110, My exp. is 26/26 and my mastery is 15.65 which is a 31% increase in frost damage.
No longer rounds down(or shouldn't - I know it doesn't for hunters).
Also does our pet have crazy health regen because even though our pets don't actually have the 90% AoE dmg reduction they can still sit in and take ALOT of AoE damage, if its a spell that would normally wtf-pwn a risen ghoul it sits at about 1/2 to 3/4 HP until the AoE is over and begins regenning it over time.
What would be the best Unholy spec to start with (when in full heroic gear, so preparing for raid).
Go Dual Wield Unholy, so I don't have to respec when I hit the heroic raid level gear, or go 2handed unholy and respec in the end?
Seeing I am Dual Wield Frost and I have some spare 1handers in my inventory, it saves me time for gearing up to a 2handed spec.
And another thing I saw some people mentioned is the 1point filler in Desecration.
It can be good in some times for slowing adds, but it can also be annoying in some times were adds need to be kited away fast and seeing Desecration pops from a skill we use quite often it is hard to not have a desecration under the adds (without sacrificing your whole rotation and take a huge dps loss that way) which could annoy the tank because he can't kite the adds away as fast as he would like.
So wonder if the filler point could be better spent in something like Unholy Command (another worthless talent, but that is why you only put a filler point in it). Because slows are mostly used by other classes as well, and they have better slows then our Desecration talent (if we only put 1 point in it).
