Can someone post a talent spec for feral bear

Feral cat and resto have talent specs except feral bear, the most complex of them all

My thinking behind the DPS-leaning is that Tanking has to be good enough to survive (meaning if you're over-geared/talented, you can't survive...more), but any advantage in DPS is a practical improvement by reducing the fight duration.


I'm considering swapping to this, though, for more tank survivability, since healers are having mana issues lately:

I dropped Blood in the Water and Stampede, and I also dropped as much Fury Swipes as I could, in order to add Master Shapeshifter and Perseverance.

My thinking is that 4% Crit in cat form from MS makes up for some of the DPS loss in FS and BitW. And the Spell Damage reduction from Perseverance makes my bear form more survivable.


So, I guess my question is, knowing I can't have it all, are there any better trade-offs I've missed? Any general comments?
These are awesome specs, this should get sticky. Thanks for the only bear spec available on elitishjerks site, since there is no official one.

thanks for clearing this up, now it makes sense. I tested this on some dummies and it's correct.
The pyromaniac buff won't show up if you dps 1 target, but it will only show a 5% buff if you have 3 targets up whether you have 1/2 or 2/2 put into it.
2/2 is currently a dps loss, because it won't give you the static 5% haste that 1/2 will give you

Hello!

First of all, i'd like to apologize for what next, my english so bad anyway.

Few questions about the darkmoon card volcano:

I.E,

-Do the fire dmg (900-1600) scale on your spell power?

-Does destruction mastery have any effect on those fire dmg?

Last thing, does anyone succeed in find out the internal GCD of that card? (suxx in math too...)

10954 dps on the boss dummy with the T11 premade not using any CDs. I did this will full reforge into crit and all crit gems. It was pretty average against other logs as far as procs.

11410 dps in the one above but was a little lucky at the start would likely push averages closer to 11k. Below shows a bad RNG with few light procs only getting around 9400 dps. Same thing, no AW's or guardians or aura. All gems are str and reforges mastery > crit = haste. With trinket proc I was at about 38.2% haste, very close to 3s GCD.

Critical hit is clearly where paladins are hurting most and even with everything into crit i was only able to get around 10.5%. Personally I think these numbers are still below par. A full t11 359 ilvl ret pally should be pulling more than this and i think agi classes atm are getting the benefit of the combo stat.

Maybe I just missed it somewhere, but you are adding ignite to a frost build. Does Ignite work with Frostfire Orb, or is there some other reason for Ignite?

As already said multiple times, CS damage increase, Hand of Light working with Inquisition and many other things (like Rebuke still being a talent and Sacred Shield nowhere to be seen) are still missing from this build. Anyway, on live I noticed huge dps gains when being in a good-stacked party group (Windfury, Strength of Air, Leader of the Pack etc.); I think it might be the case that we scale better than some other classes when buffed, given our own (very) low crit chance; therefore I will prefer comparisons with party/raid fighs rather than one-on-one against dummies.

im wondering if Mark of Khardros - Item - World of Warcraft could be bis for warrior. I know mastery is crap (even with the incoming buff), but beeing able to use the proc whenever we want...
With the buff we get almost 50% to enrage abilities which is +10% to death wish.
im really thinking about replacing one of my 359 (license + heart of rage) for this one. Thoughts on that?

Succubus vs Felhunter

All say Succubus is better than Fellhunter, and with glyph gain more dps, but if I change [Glyph of Quick Decay] to [Glyph of Curse of Agony] and my minion will be Fellhunter, I get extra tick from CoA, +15% dmg for DoT spells, and when I have more haste, my dps will be rise exponentially from extra DoT spell ticks and Shadow Bite. My question is that theory correct ? And how much haste is needed?

Forgive me for my ignorance if such a thing exists, but is there a mod or add-on that tells you the DPS of your current dots? I would think this would be helpful in deciding when to use combustion, and to tell you how much your combustion is ticking for.
