Yo doods. I'm new here, so
0)sorry for my english, if anything
1)I'm resto shammy 10\12 normal 25, I'm 80% time raid healing, and from time to time i'm tank-heal.
I'm thinking about trinkets.
Right now i use tsunami ofc, its bis (as for me) and tear, which is 285 int and 1700 spirit proc.
So, I'v made some tests, and it seems that tear has only 1 min ICD (i thought it was 2 min), so basicaly it gives you ~280 spirit.
I was thinking about TB trinket, but after tear-calcs it seems useless to me. Why? 321 int, but for begginer-resto int isnt prime stat. Mastery? Sorry, its useless.
Also, a doll from archaeology seems interesting, its 350mp5 or 700 spirit.
But the more I look at all it, the more I think about tear... its like a 90% of tsunami.

What do you think about it?

Oh, and about mana.
I'm telluric fan. I'v got rotation with 2-3-4 heals (hw or ghw or ch, depends) + 1 LB. ~7k dmg = 1400 mana.
90% fights allows you to do some LB, and in the end 20-30% of my mana comes from telluric. And its + of Dmg on boss (1-2% of all raid dps, isnt so low).
So, i'm thinking about testing int-hast build instead of full spirit.

Need your opinion)

Hmm i agree with Heart strike acting like a festering strike for Blood, sounds good.

Also i have a question.

I recently got Throngus's Finger - Item - World of Warcraft Throngus's Finger, and im wondering if the trade off of about 4k hp (stoneskin enchant + sta trinket) is worth a very reliable dodge proc and parry enchant, bringing parry/dodge to 17.5/18 unbuffed 12/60 seconds of the time,

Only just started trying this combo. What do ppl think ? Obviously i know dodge/parry want to be pretty equal and this throws my numbers in favour of parry 80% of the time, but during this time a dodge cool down can be used?

Intelligent thoughts please

So, anyone who is a frost DW player knows frost presence is supposedly the way to go, by accident i started a chimaeron fight in unholy presence forgetting to switch after using it to get to him faster for the 15% speed, I look at recount n im pushing 24k dps in unholy presence : /, as frost im usually 18k. So thinking unholy may be better i ran a few heroics and found that my dps was MUCH higher than in frost presence. I'm theorizing the reason unholy presence seems to yield more dps is cuz of the more KM procs early on in the fight, and we all know the earlier the fight is the easier dps fluctuates before it averages out. Im guessing in a long fight (raid bosses etc) frost will average out better, since i do find myself with runes on cd and no runic power just auto-attacking often in unh pres. Maybe ill just start fights in unh presence n switch to frost presence when i hit 0 RP. *Shrugs* What do you guys think?

I am currently an exclusive PvP boomkin (PvE Bear). My basic rotation has been proc'ing solar eclipse asap and then sitting in it for the duration of the BG. Usually to open up I will starfire to get earth and moon up and then proceed to DoT and sunfire spam. I know that I could benefit from just casting nukes but in PvP having such a powerful spell that I can cast while on the move has proven invaluable. Obviously when shit hits the proverbial fan I do let loose with wraths and starsurge for a sudden and unexpected spike in dps.

With the changes to mastery does anyone else think that it will become the most sought after PvP stat? I know haste is very powerful but in a PvP world steeped with dispells and almost constant moving combat I really thought (even before the patch notes) that mastery was #1.

I know this thread (and most others) on this site are dedicated to more PvE moonkin discussion but I was really curious to hear what you guys thought. Also if there are any other PvP'ers out there I'd love to know what you have found to be effective.

So Alchemy not only produces a similar, competitive stat boost to any profession via mixology/stat flask, longer effects on flasks, it's gaining its own BiS trinket. Similar to engineering and JC.

It's just hard to understand how this can fly when professions like enchanting only give a passive stat boost with no exclusive bonuses. Basically enchanting now drops from competitive to pre-Cata Leatherworking levels.

Hopefully they'll balance professions as good as they've done with our specs. Were demonology to get a cleave mechanic like Soul Swap and Bane of Havoc, I could see all specs within 500 dps of each other more or less.

So is Alchemy worth leveling for the trinket? I have been lazy and not going for exalted with wardens just because horde always controls it anyways.... at least till the patch... I'm seeing most wars with the wardens/alchemy stone for trinkets... Are they really best in slot at the moment? Ill most likely be running Vial off valiona and Wardens trinket.

My currrent professions are Leatherworking and JC.. I sort of like the enchant for the bracers and the money making from orbs on Leatherworking, but not sure if dropping it for a trinket is worth it...

how the f*** can a warlock reach 1742 Hit Chance Rating??? i did a couple of rnd heroics but with no luck so i buyed some stuff in the auction house. i set in 3 rigid chimera eye with +67 hit rating and all other gems with haste/int+hit and all enchants with +hit AND GOT SPELL HIT CHANCE +9,2 (942 rating) WITH elixir of impossible accuracy (+225 hit) and grilled dragon (+90 hit and stamina). to reach the hit cap is IMPOSSIBLE!

How good would Fleet Shadowspirit Diamond be for DW compared to Chaotic or Destructive? Mastery having a higher stat weight compared to crit and it letting you use 50 Mastery on boots instead of Lavawalker and all.

It has int and spellpower, the two stats that have the highest weight . i'd say that even if the numbers themselves are not the highest among the batch of available trinkets, the int/sp combo gets it to rank at an interesting place. Sadly, i've seen quite a few jewelcrafters using other (non-hit) trinkets in place of the figurine, which according to OP trinket chart effectively lowers their dps .
