I remember reading earlier that initial ep values of the darkmoon hurricane were figured assuming 1 ppm. If it is procing 1ce every 23s that could mean the posted ep values could be grossly underestimated and that it could be worth replacing tia's with this. Of course it could have been updated to show the 3ppm.

Anyone guess the EP value for I'm guessing the same as the hurricane card or close?

I'm a 2H Frost guy, and I'm *very* please with the PTR changes. However, I also believe that the cookie cutter spec for 2H, even in its present form, is a bit misleading and, since 2H appears to be making a comeback, I feel like opening up some discussion about it is worthwhile.

I know that not every DK is called on to interrupt on every cooldown, but I usually am in my raids, and as such 2/2 Mind Freeze is worth more dps (20 RP every 10 seconds) than 2/2 Imp Frost Presence (I dps in UH Prez, so the damage buff is zero, and the RP gain appears to be much less than 20 RP / 10 sec. Does anyone have the math on how much RP per 10 seconds the 4% increase in generation actually comes out to? My sample size is exceptionally small, so I want to make sure I'm not just completely wrong here.

And of course, if you're not interrupting ever cooldown, mindfreeze isn't worth squat.

I also find that - with my presently less than ideal gear - swapping 2/2 Imp Blood Tap into 2/2 Virulence is worth more dps as well, as it greatly reduces HB misses. For the reasons already mentioned above, basically. Of course, this will be moot once the PTR goes live, but I'm guessing virulence will still be worth more in actual gameplay. Reduced cooldown on BT just isn't that great - without any points it syncs up perfectly with PoF and Outbreak - with points in it the odds of needing it on exactly every cooldown greatly decrease, which then throws off the timing on PoF and Outbreak, and throws off the rotation.

Lastly, I'm also seeing the bug where Rime Procs don't always lead to crits. This is affecting both OB and FS. I don't IT enough to know if it affects that as well, but I'd be surprised if it didn't. if I had to hedge a bet, i'd guess that it is flat setting crit rate to 100%, but doing so *before* any boss crit reduction is applied. Thus the real crit rate would be 92%. Can anyone verify this with a large sample set? Is there a log that shows what % of OB or FS were used while Rime was up and thus should have been autocrits?

Hey guys, I just created a new rotation builder addon for any class but my primary class is Paladin. I would have posted in the Addons forum but the rules wont let me until I have 10 replies and 10 days registration and congressional approval.

Anyways, I wanted to run it by the best paladins out there to see if it can be the goto addon for building rotations. Let me know what you think. It has most the functionality of clcInfo but is more visual and can be changed pretty easily without knowing Lua.

On the PTR with the change to firestarter, and the lowered mana cost of fire spells, is there any validity to using mage armor to keep a pure fireball phase going longer/indefinite?

Scorch usage for movement/debuff is still there I am just curious as to the trade off of 5% crit to increased fireball casting.

It seems to me that Mastery stacking may be worthwhile once 4.06 goes lives. But I do not have a clear understanding so I need some help with how mastery affects raging blow and enrage

It seems to me that Mastery is like arm pen was in the WotLK, it gets better the more you have.

In the current PTR build, with the buff to Raging Blow, and the buff to the % that mastery increases raging blow and enrage and death wish, is it feasible that stacking mastery may be the way to go, assuming you have enough hit, crit, haste to keep enrage up and enough rage coming in.

for instance, with 20 mastery rating you are looking at 156.8% bonus. Does that mean that raging blow will then hit for 227% weapon damage and enrage will increase damage by 25.6%?

or am I an idiot? please discuss....

SP - 2.5369

Mastery - 1.3588
Haste - 1.2961

Example 1: Theralions Mirror
- 321 Int ( -> 321* 3,7216 = 1195 )
- Procc: 1926 Mastery for 20 secs with 100 secs internal CD
1926*20 / 100 = 385,2 Mastery ( -> 385,2 * 1,3588= 523.41 )

-> 523,41 + 1195 = 1718

Example 2: Figurine - Jeweled Serpent ( Only 4 jewelcrafter )
- 285 Int ( -> 285* 3,7216 = 1060.66 )
- Procc: 1425 SP for 20 secs with 120 secs internal CD
1425*20 / 120 = 237,5 ( -> 237.5 * 2,5369 = 602,514)

-> 1060,66 + 602,514 = 1663,17

With the changes to T11 4-piece in 4.0.6, is the set bonus actually useful now? & if it is, is it worth getting before other valor items (back, ring)?

To my fellow mages,

As I was about to purchase gloves to make my t11 2piece, I noticed something peculiar with the tooltip. Maybe it's just a typo, but if not, it seems like it would make the 2piece useless for fire mages.

-Tooltip reads: "Increases the critical stirke chance of Arcane Missile, Ice Lance, and Pyroblast by 5%."

However, notice the lack of the "!" next to Pyroblast. Not trying to point the typo finger at Blizz, but more wondering if anyone else has noticed this, or even played around with the 2 piece to confirm that the right spell is attatched.

I elected to get the cloak [Haunt of Flies} instead because the next biggest stat upgrade for me. Have the valor points to get gloves whenever, but was hoping for a little insight on this potential problem in the meantime.

I appologize in advance if I totally missed it, but I have been looking at tons of sites and Blue Posts, and can't find anyone catching, or talking about it.
