As far as the changes to the PvE 4 set bonus, is it going to be worth getting now that they changed it?
I'll try and condense this a bit...
Mana Feed = more mana replenish = Less time casting Life Tap = More GCD:s to use for offensive spells
Not to say that Jinx is a bad talent, it's has very good situational use. It doesn't, however, offer us the highest possible damage increase gained from talents.

About the 4 set bouns Zakalwe answered the following in the Simcraft forum

I hope this answered your questions =)

I have seen the question of Best Alliance Mage Class asked more than a few times, so I shall answer this as follows...

Although the idea of "Best" could be up for debate, through my experience the Ideal allliance raiding class for a Mage is Worgen. The 1% increased Critical Strike chance has it's obvious advantages for a raiding mage.

Some would argue that a Draenei may be a bit better, but there is more than enough +Hit gear available to meet the requirements needed.

I am considering rolling a resto shaman for healing purposes, and i was wondering what are the unique things that a shaman brings to healing table, aside from the obvious mana tide.

So a question to shaman players out there - when you play a resto shaman, what makes you feel awesome about the class?

Thanks XD. But umm, I read that post before, is he referring to the change in 4.0.7? Or the way it is now. Because instead of 100% chance to crit, it's going to increase damage done by 300% for next 2 fel flames.

I think you'll find that this is reffering to 4.0.6. And yes, it's with the changes to 4pt11

FFB

What I've been wondering is what will happen with FFB.

FFB will cost more mana than FB, but with the increase in mastery, how much mastery will you need to get for the damage for it to be equal to FB (FFB DoT)?

Interesting. This could shuffle our trinket list also. This trinket might become good then: Impatience of Youth

I was wondering whether anyone had done the math to work out whether it would be worth hard casting soulfire to maintain the new 4.0.6 buff?

8% flat increase to casttime offensive spells is still 8% flat increase to casttime offensive spells, the haste buff gave us roughly 12% increase but we still hardcasted that. I'd be surprised of things have changed tbh.

Assuming the PTR is accuratly representing how Blizzard want us and that Inq will not effect our new mastery, is mastery ahead so far that it will remain our best secondary stat throughout or could there be plateaus at which point crit/haste will take over?

Any idea how the new changes will affect glyphing? As a prediction, might frostbolt and icelance glyph become far more viable in favour of FFB?

Yeah, but what Darqueseid means is something different. He is saying that you can blink "out of this situation" even when airborn, high up and WITHOUT having to be close to the ground. You'll still appear instantly on the ground as if you had blinked while being on the ground. This is not ordinary blink behavior and it can save you time, which is valuable if you are one of those designated to AoE the parasites. I tested it just once out of curiosity and it worked. Obviously, it's still better to blink before you actually get thrown into the air.

Why do ever want to blink when you can walk out of the Pillar of Flame meanwhile casting scorch on Magmaw till you have reached the new spot where the raid is grouping up and then bomb the adds. If you have failed moving out of the Pillar of Flame it is fine, but otherwise you loose DPS when you blink everytime.
