I guess I just dont get it. Is the whole idea to be oom at the end of boss fights to get as much dps as possible. Hope this isnt too confusing to understand.

Yes, exactly.

All the mana you have left when the fight ends is wasted, and it could have been converted into damage by using more Fireballs and less Scorches in your rotation.

Due to the mechanics of Bandit's Guile and a few other factors, yes it's dead.

Why are you disregarding the Throne of the Four Winds loot? That loot drops.

Now, since there are 5 random enchants for agility-based items, the drop-rate on the particular item we would want is going to be low. But, this thread is all about finding the BiS gear. The BiS gear will include one or more of these items. It seems to me that the whole point of the loot in that zone is that there's always a chance you could get the perfect item.

Most people won't get the loot we're talking about. So what? That's not the game.

Right now on wowhead it says there is a 16% chance (about 1/6) to get the star chaser belt:
Star Chaser Belt - Item - World of Warcraft

With a 1/5 chance of getting the random enchant that we want, that is about a 3.3% chance to get the item we want. Cool, we have a 3.3% chance to get a BiS item. Lets put it on the list!

Don't think so... Tooltip states "Finishing move that consumes combo points on any nearby target to increase autoattack damage done by 50%. Only useable while in Cat Form. Lasts longer per combo point:" Just tested it on a Target Dummy too and it's definitely not buffing Mangle.

I was curious how far the disparity is between the quality of stats regarding Master, Crit and Haste. I saw in the raiding guild that Int is superior to all, then haste/hit/spirit then Crit then mastery. But I have an issue with completely undervaluing the stats worse than they really are. So I'm avoiding mastery like the plague unfortunately, and was wondering how bad that is. . .

Any help would be lovely, especially if I could be directed towards a chart of some kind. Kind of looking for what I saw in the Feral Q & A,

Relative Stat Values at 85 (25M raid):
DPS: 3.88
Agi: 2.57

First off, I keep getting a dll error with the latest enhsim. I checked with rawr and with what is posted on the forums. According to them I should be doing more dps with a caster weapon then I do with my current agi weapon. So I tested them, here is what I came up with testing on the combat dummies.

Weapons
Caster 1.8 attack speed
Agi 2.6 attack speed

FT/FT Caster Main/Agi Off
12.6-12.8k

WF/FT Caster Main/Agi Off
12.5-12.7k

WF/FT Agi Main/ Agi Off
14.8-15.1k

Each of these are with three full totem time outs. So about 15 minutes on each go around. Mind you its in all blues, and the caster weapon is only a ilevel 333. Though my Agi weapons are only 346, so its not like I was testing with epic level weapon on the agi side of the test. But with over three hours of none stop testing, the "WF/FT Agi Main/ Agi Off" always topped dps and damage done.

With the changes to Flametongue coming down the pike, the caster weapon will certainly not be used. So most of this at the current time is pointless.

Hey I am new to playing rogues and I am spec as combat. What am I looking for in gear? What should I look for?
Haste? Attk Power? Critical Strike? Hit?

The potion bonus has no effect on our dps
