hi, im a fan of this forum it have been very helpful to me but up to now im a bit confuse in putting the talent point.

here is my state:

I would like to know by changing some of the talent points would it be good for Ulduar

1) change 2 points in acrane subtlety to 2 point stability
2) 1 point in attunement and 2 points in SOM
3) 2 points in Incanter's Absorption
4) change 2 points from 1ce shards to frost warding

and the rest of the points are the same as always. Im using molten armor most of the time.

How would this effect my dps and mana consuming?? Any advice will be grateful

Actually current theory has 0/41/30 as one of the top DPS specs, the original poster is simply busy in ulduar and has not had time to update the initial post to correspond. If you want theory, head over to the Simulation-craft thread and read the results. If you're looking for coherently summarized posts, and are willing to be a bit behind any of the latest findings, this is the thread for you.

In the mean time, if you'd like to be helpful, the OP lists what he needs to have to update the initial post at the bottom of that post - feel free to provide any or all of that data.

As of the new 3.1 patch, rogues are no longer an asset in the Malygos fight because of having the Shadowstep talent. We used it when everyone would get sucked up in his whirlwind, and the rogues could Shadowstep out of it No more, enjoy being put in the ranks of the rest of your group.

Hi guys, so ive been lurking this and the unholy thread for some time now, and is currently running with both:
51/2/18 and 0/10/61
I find a hard time using 51/2/18, and can hardly reach 2.6k dps on a dummy. I run with the usually PS>IT>HS>HS>DS>Dump>DS>HS>HS>PS>IT>HS>HS>HS>HS repeat.

When doing trash i tend to: PS>IT>Pest>BB>DS>DnD>BB>BB>BB, this works great - however my question is - what do i wrong in the singletarget dps?

A couple things:

Gems - Generally you should be gemming pure Strength (+16 Strength) in all sockets. Should you not be a JC the accepted blue gem to achieve meta requirements is +8 Strength / +12 Stamina. You are gemming Crit / Stamina green gems, and I'm not sure why. Also, you have +6 Stats in your neck socket and your meta choice leaves much to be desired.

Rotation - The benefit of using Death Strike and 1/2 Epidemic is that you can land a 6x HS rotation without refreshing your diseases. So unless you don't have a point in Epidemic (which you really should) then the rotation you are using now is sub-optimal. Something like this would be more effective:

IT - PS - HS - HS - DS - RP
DS - HS - HS - HS - HS - RP

Ya, apparently it doesnt apply a debuff to the turrets on Leviathan (then again, i'm not even sure Howling Blast hits the turrets at all now that I think about it).
