with the switch to using 2 physical dps weapons VS FT/FT setup Unheeded Warning should be better. I am not sure if anyone has done real tests on this trinket or just Sim's. I have raised this on another forum that my tests on dummies have shown more DMG from using Unheeded Warning and Essesence of the Cyclone over any combination including Tia's Grace.
I know this is not Raid buffed, i doubt my whole raid would like to stand there while i spend 30min hitting the dummy but i think this trinket is highly underrated.

Can anyone confirm that the Sim is working properly? I am seeing 15.9% uptime in raids.

I was in a discussion with another DK friend tonight and it seems we both have different views on the best Frost DW trinkets to use. He claimed that the [Darkmoon Card: Hurricane] was a crap trinket. Well I begged to differ and been working on getting card made, just 3 more cards to go.

We had another discussion over two more trinkets. I had picked up the [Impatience of Youth] tonight and he said I should have gotten the [License to Slay] instead. I value my friend's opinion but after reading closely here on the DW Frost DK thread I am confused. Can anyone offer some opinions or constructive feedback on these trinkets? Did I make a good choice or a poor one in picking up the trinket that I did?

I stand corrected then. I guess I'll try a full Rawr leap of faith in my raids this week. Thanks for the reply!

I think DMC:Hurrican is a nice trinket. My logs showed 1,9% damage (1113861) done by the proc (8 trys/kill) for an average damage of 6936,2 and average crit damage of 10150,9. I had 124 hits, 25 crits and 13 misses. The misses because the proc is on the spellhit table, but with the next patch when 9% spellhit becomes baseline for all DKs, I think this will be a thing of the past.

Well with the changes to BT/RB/Slam, will it even be worth to spam execute sub 20 or would be keeping our normal rotation be better?

Using Rawr to figure out my BiS gear for fire spec, but one thing i can't seem to get the hang of.
Rawr always put's Darkmoon Card: Volcano on top and Soul Casket 3rd (just 20 dps below 1st) even with both items having lots of Mastery on them, which i understand from reading here* is one of the worst stats for this spec.

My question is: is the procs on these items so much worth, (despite the high mastery stats) that it's worth taking them over items like Theralion's Mirror which have the best stat (INT) for fire mages?

I have read everywhere that the best trinkets for resto shammy are owl (JWC) and Core of Ripness. I havent got the owl yet, although i am a JWC. And i think i won't get the Core in the nearest 2-3 week as my online isn't that perfect to get in the most raids. So i was wondering how good is Corrupted egg shell Corrupted Egg Shell - Item - World of Warcraft.
If it sucks - why? I haven't found any math regarding how much do the Owl and the Core yield but this one, assuming cancelling after 5 ticks, will provide 7140. What is more it is a source of very quick income of 5040 mana just when u need it that much.
So what do u think of the trinket in comparisson with others.

Thanks in advance!

What do you think about the opening of the rogue(Maeil) on that video YouTube - Paragon VS Chimaeron 25man Heroic (tol'vir, garrote, snd, muti muti, cb, vendetta, evenom, muti, rupture 4cp+) starting at 00:18. thanks

At the bare minimum you'd probably still want to maintain Executionerx5.

As per the previous discussion on this subject, I've recently been utilising garrote > rupture (+ ruth) > SND (mut no ruth > SND) > mut > mut > env. I've still not seen any evidence to suggest having SND up before rupture is a necessity, and this opening cycle is the quickest/smoothest I've ever seen in terms of getting you into your normal rotation.

Keeping RB and BT on cooldown should be the way to go. I'm curious to know if there is a limited up-time for the buff on the next slam after a bloodsurge proc though.

Probably, but mastery should still outplay crit and haste. It's not like FT is not doing any (fire) damage at all anymore.
Hard to tell for sure though as the changes still aren't on PTR.
