Further more you should not forge Spirit into Critical Strike Rating when having mana issues.
You also should replace your old gems with the new ones.
In general it is better to aim for gear with Spirit on it instead of other Ratings until you no longer have that big mana problems.
Hi, I looking for information on Shattering Throw (Shattering Throw - Spell - World of Warcraft). I do not play a Warrior but as 25-raid organizer I need some background information to advice our warriors and I have a hard time to find answers to the questions below:
* Given that we raid with 25 people and somewhere between 5 and 10 physical DDs (Dps Warriors not included) I take it that Shattering Trow provides a significant raidwide dps gain over a personal loss. (In line with the comment with this thread.) Is that assumption true? Any rule of thumb how many other melees it takes to be useful?
* When are the best possible situation to use, given that it is available ~2 times per fight per warrior? Heroism, sure. Pull? Shortly after Pull? Execute range?
* How does a fury or arms warrior use it in its rotation – especially without Tactical Mastery?
Talents for the "Warlock_Demonology_T11_359" profile invest 2/2 in Aura of Foreboding and 1/1 Demonic Empowerment while Demonic Aegis is 0/2. Well, I understand that Aura of Foreboding provides utility to stun adds in raids, but isn't 1/2 enough to make it useful? Additionally, why would investing one point in Demonic Empowerment be better than investing one point in Demonic Aegis, as health regeneration should have more usefulness than break pet snare?
I will just add a little think on it.
Will the new way Fel armor will work on PTR, won't the last Demonic Aegis is better for survival than 1 pt +Stamina ?
Just switched from my discopriest to my holidan for our raid teams and am wondering if any of you are taking advantage of gem socket bonuses or only stacking Int gems these days? I've been taking all socket bonuses so far, but think maybe I should regem now as mana/spirit doesn't seem to be an issue.
Well, not sure how simulationcraft is modeling warlock pets right now, but I did some tests on felguard/imp/succubus crit rates.
All tests involve at least 1k attacks unless otherwise specified, all attacks were on boss test dummy. My spellcrit rate is listed as 15.01% ingame. I have screenshots of recount from these tests, can provide if requested.
Felguard auto attack:
No buffs/debuffs: 14.3% crit
Leader of the pack aura: 20.7% crit
Apparently I didn't take a screenshot of the hand of gul'dan test I did, but it didn't seem to affect his autoattack.
Succubus Lash of Pain:
No buffs/debuffs: 3.5% crit
Hand of Gul'dan aura on dummy: 12% crit (only 400 hits for this test, recasting hand of gul'dan over and over again is annoying)
Leader of the pack aura: 3.3% crit (only 600 hits for this test)
Also did a really really small sample size test of improved shadowbolt that I didn't take a screenshot of, size was about 200ish hits. Crit rate around 3ish%.
No buffs/debuffs: 13.7% crit
Improved Shadowbolt on dummy: 18.2% crit
Hand of Gul'dan aura on dummy: 24.1% crit
Leader of the pack aura: 19.7% crit
Basically, leader of the pack aura doesn't show up on the imp/felguard, but they seem to get whatever spell crit I have, so they scale with it that way. Succubus's crit rate is awful, and doesn't benefit from leader of the pack at all. Hand of gul'dan helps imp and succubus, but not felguard autoattack (not sure about specials, takes too long to get good numbers on them and I spent enough time recasting hand of gul'dan every 12 seconds for a few hours as it is). Improved shadowbolt helps imp.
I noticed the same thing about Hand of Gul'dan not affecting the felguards autoattack (It does however affect both Felstorm and Legion Strike) and talked to a GM about it. After my ticket was escalated I got the reply that they where aware of the issue and that it was being fixed as soon as they could.
Im a pretty hardcore player, but with a few friends who are also pretty in to wow i am setting up a guild. As of this we havent had much time for progression and are 11/12 normal.
Does anyone know what the non heroic BiS list is currently looking like. Im mainly thinking about trinkets with HoR hc not being an option, Non set pieces( or even to take tier at all) and if single minded fury is any good now.
WTB FROST DK BUFFS CRY - the only way to play after the patch is Unholy and I don't wanna play the easy shit specc which is fucking boring =( Ok, I'm sad. Someone want to share the pain or got positive news from the ptr about the rune fix? Oh and hi to 23k DPS Unholy pets in Sinestra p3.
Kinda sad that the only good thing frost was good for was ae and that gets fixed with patch 4.0.6.
January 24th PTR Notes Update:
- Holy Light, Divine Light, Flash of Light mana costs increased by 10%.
I honestly don't see why they must increase our mana costs. What they should do is bring the other healers up. In-directly they are buffing the other healers by giving us a nerf, that's not right either.
