The gear level, the bugs, the stacking, etc. Most of "us" will never be there and never see those. We simply do not have to worry about the same things they do.
The real disconnect though, if you're in one of those top-10 guilds, you don't particularly need to be here discussing what to do and your situation is completely different from the grand majority. The grand majority of the readers will never be in those situations and won't use those tactics -- and quite possibility don't understand the gear/setting differentials.
Keep this in mind. It goes both ways. Yes, it's infamous Paragon's Holy Priests smite'd the hell out of Arthas -- but their raid had significantly less gear and there was no 30% (or 25%) buff. Were they wrong? Obviously not, but it's not a situation most posters here have/had to deal with.
So, please respect the atmosphere different posters come from; but also if Paragon jump's of a bridge, don't follow them (unless you know what you're doing).
P.S. Judging from the guilds of the posters in the 5-page, only one poster's guild is even in "the chase". (That is, close to chasing Method, For the Horde, etc).

Paragon/Method Priests come here, they just don't post. Trust me. No matter how good someone thinks they are there is always one thing they aren't doing/understanding. Players in the best guild in the world didn't get there by cutting off all ties to information the moment they put on the tag.

Hey, I was wondering how Skardyn's Grace and Grace of the Herald would do as trinkets. Are they good choices, or are they redundant and I should use something else?

On my 345 Ilvl, Assassination Rogue, i'm usually capable of pulling anywhere from 11-15k dps on heroic bosses. For some unknown reason, today when I logged on and attempted to do H Halls of Origination, I was capping at about 8k. Playerscore also seemed to be telling me that heroics were now harder for me than they were yesterday. Just wondering if this spontaneous occurrence has happened to anyone else
Agility: 3519
Attack Power : 7419
Haste : 8.73%
Hit Chance : 14,56% (Melee) 16.03% (Spell)
Crit Chance : 13.77%
Expertise: 12/12
Mastery : 16.02
Any and all information or explanations will be extremely appreciated. TY!

Basically it's: every 346 or non-raid 359 item, sorted by item slot, with a summary listing the most desired heroic dungeons (by number of DPS caster drops per). I realize some of the rep and craftable items are already listed in this thread but I have taken further steps by including all heroic drops.
BACK
346 [Cloak of Ancient Wisdom] - Crit/Haste - Earthen Ring (Revered)
346 [Shadow of Perfect Bliss] - Hit/Crit - Vortex Pinnacle
346 [Periwinkle Cloak] - Haste/Mastery - Throne of the Tides
CHEST
346 [Robes of Orsis] - Hit/Crit - Ramkahen (Revered)
346 [Robes of Embalmed Darkness] - Haste/Mastery - 2,200 Justice Points
346 [Corsair's Overshirt] - Crit/Mastery - Deadmines
346 [Inquisition Robes] - Hit/Mastery - Blackrock Caverns
346 [Robes of Arugal] - Crit/Mastery - Shadowfang Keep
346 [Robes of Rampant Growth] - Crit/Haste - Halls of Origination

Excellent list, as I understand it, you're trying to list BiS available items without raiding
with valor points- which can be earned in heroic dungeons, there are many things with equal stats
to items on your list, and there are two 359's that best the items here
(you only show 346's)
359 [Haunt of Flies] crit/haste back
359 [Firelord's Robes] crit/haste chest

Eternal Glory: The chance to not consume Holy Power from this talent now also applies to not consuming the clearcasting effect generated by Divine Purpose.
|
Re-reading it makes it clear to me that this only concerns casting WoG, because casting WoG is what's triggering the chance to not consume HP. So this chance is also extended to not consuming DP procs. But the origin of these chances remains casting WoG. Although I admit that this would help our HP generation / usage, but we'd have to take a point out of either SoTP or Blazing Light in order to get it, and that seems strange in itself.
Imho, it's a welcome change for PvP utility and healing, but non-relevant from a PvE perspective.

I made the list before Cataclysm released, so most of this is probably pretty outdated by now. I could instead work on a 359/372 BIS list, but I'd imagine these have already been accomplished.

So when would gaining that much haste actually be worth it?
And right now, after my new reforging, I'm only at 12 mastery... does that sound right?

Noone can tell you one way or the other, you have to go by your gut instinct.
You will get more HT's/nourishes out aswell with the added haste, with all my haste proc's I'm upto some 4.3k haste atm, I think I'm throwing out HT's every 1.7 secs approx then.

Yes I would tend to agree with this theory. It is a shame though as this would certainly helped hp generation. However this would lead to even more burst and more rng which I cannot believe is what they intended.
Nevertheless since rebuke is no longer a talent you could take out repentance to meet the 2 point requirement, unless I am mistaken as to whether ss will be a deep ret talent. Sorry if this is incorrect as I cannot currently access the ptr.

Hit rating. Go for what cap ?
Hey... Ive been searcing around and cant seem to find a straight answer for this.
Should i as Frost DW DK, go for 6% hit (600 rating) due to nerves of cold steel?
Or should i aim any higher ?
Thanks in advance

Generally you will only want to be hitcapped for your specials, that being just 5% with NoCS. If you are on interrupt duty, then you will want more hit rating so that your Mind Freezes won't miss. Which will make your HB unable to miss as well.
Keep in mind that in 4.0.6, the +spellhit% from Virulence will become baseline for all Deathknight specs.
