Simple answer: Jewelcrafting gives you 3 67 int gems instead of 40 int gems, for an additional 81 int (always). Lifeblood gives you 480 haste for 20 seconds every 120 seconds or 80 haste average. Int > Haste, so take Jewelcrafting.

Hi,

I have read through this article and I am sure not entirely clear how Spirit weighs up against Intellect.

Basically, if I have a chance to replace gear which has no spirit and more intellect for the same value the previous gear had spirit, do I select the gear with more intellect

Alright, finally puts an end to my worries.

Still about half ilevel 359, so reforge all my reforgable haste in crit until I get 4t11 and from there hit the sweet and never worry about it again....till next tier.

We've had a lot of talk back and forth about the damage loss from heroic strike verses the gains from the other buffs. Just been going back and forth on SMF being better or worse too. For all you guys crunching numbers, can we get an idea on what kind of overall gain/loss we will be looking at going into 4.0.6?

Hello everyone. I am starting back up and last time I played I was duel wielding 2x 1.4 speed daggers. I know people did research in WotLK, and they were viable.

That was before the below 30% talent for ass build. Guessing that using 2x fast daggers is now bad?

now i just have 1 question. i have read a few post on other forums about mastery being last thing we need behind int, hit, crit haste then mastery. is this wrong? should i go int/hit/crit/mastery/haste? or what?

Do NOT run FT/FT on matched speed weapons. FT has been observed to have a 0.15 sec internal cooldown meaning that matched weapons will significantly reduce the number of FT procs you will see.

Given that most enhance weapons have a speed of 2.6, are we going to be running WF/FT most of the time? This question is also relevant because of the upcoming nerf to FT and WF buff.

Hello,

Just wondering what is the 'soft' haste cap for Unholy DK's? Been looking into it but cant find a solid answer, people seem to be confused about how Unholy presence affects this. If there is no cap, is there apoint at which it becomes less desirable due to diminishing returns?

btw I'm using a 2hander (obviously, thats why UH presence), and currently running at 14.82% haste, iirc not logged in to check exactly what it is.

Well what I have done to my resto shaman is to stack the haste over crit but also stack the most important ones of all! Intellect, Spirit, Haste, and Mastery, and never buy or steal cloth gear because of the buff you also get from the mail specilization, I am still working on my gear but I am not going out of mana so fast now because of the way I stack my stats and the more percentage of healing you get from mastery and the mail armor you NEED, just read the buff it will give you because it can change for any spec you are in and then you will understand why i stack the mail gear and the stats, and I have been healing the dps, the other heals, and the other tank's because of how people are stacking their gear, so my best suggestion, stack the stats, mail gear, etc. Good luck with getting your gear, and all else that you need.

I have read over alot of posts and havnt seen anything specificly talk about the better of the two stats .. I downloaded the newest rawr first time sence LK. And it is telling me to reforge to Dodge. Talking to other tanks in game they are saying Mastery is better for bear tanking .. I dont understand all the Calculation formula and all that. Is there a plain and simple or not so simple answer to this

It is expected that we will use WF/FT, yes. Blizzard has made suggestions that the setup is their intention and that they do not like Enhancement using caster weapons. The current PTR changes to WF/FT balance out but could once again have side effects they do not intend. The burst of shaman in a PvP situation will be quite high with an extra attack of Windfurry. In PvE snagging the WF glyph will be a higher priority as glyph.

We'll see for sure once changes hit live.

About Mastery, especially SV-Mastery. Is it only worth going for the full percentages of Mastery or is every point viable?

As to say, is 15,0% the same as 15,4% or 15,9%? Do they round up or down or do they round at all?

ok i was reading the latest patch notes and it didn't say anything about the DS nerf, only that it was able to stack. is this true or is the nerf still going to happen?

Well the good side effect of mastery is that it is a two fold stat if you are offtanking, in that it is (to my understanding) good for cat as well. Overall I have seen dodge vs mastery for tanking alone as 6 one way, half a dozen the other.
