Demonology will once again be using the Felguard as it's primary demon. It seems that Succubus' Lash of Pain was being modeled as a spell, rather than a melee attack, and not taking into account armor and the like.
Shamans [Glyph of Healing Stream Totem] also increases Nature resistance and should almost always be present with a Resto-Shaman in your group. BoK/MotW provide Nature and Arcane resistance as well, though by a much smaller margin.
Don't know right now if the bonus from the elixir is additive, but I guess so. Meaning they are still situationally useful.
I have 202 nature and arcane resistance rating (97 + 105 from the elixier) when we are raiding. So it is additive, but I am not 100% sure with which other buff. Seems to be the totem since we also have a resto shaman in our raid setup.
Sorry if this has been discussed already, but I remember seeing something on MMO about Blizz changing the Hellscream's Reach/Alliance equivilant Mandala of Stirring Patterns to proc Int instead of Mastery. I was wondering if this trinket would be on par with some of the other trinkets? Right now I'm using the Tear of Blood and Blood of Isiset because of the spirit procs, but am close to getting the DMC.
I don't really intend to raid, but I still enjoy optimizing my character for the content that I'm playing (i.e. heroic dungeons). Are the EP weights from things like the shadowcraft tool still correct for me, considering that I only attack level 87 mobs? My spell hit is obviously way over cap for level 87, turning most of my hit rating into white hit. If the EP weights still fall in the same order for a +2 target, I should be turning as much of that white hit as possible into better stats.
I realize this is a forum based around raiding, but please humor me in this simple questions thread. I'm a retired raider min/maxing for my dungeon queue .
I'm a long time reader of EJ and with the upcoming changes to DK's, is there a clearer image on what stats we will be looking at? It seems mastery will be getting better but will it be better then crit or even exp?
In other words, what is the statweigth going to look like?
i am playing mostly holy for now but sometimes dpsing
i am currently using heart of solace and impatience of youth
i was wondering if it could be a dps upgrade to get the new force alchemist stone when the patch 4.0.6 will go up and which trinket to replace
according to EnhSim ep values, [Elementium Hammer] appears to be the best weapon choice
for the 4.0.3a FT/FT setup.
Notice that on Wowhead it shows as a 204.8 dps weapon, while ingame tooltip and stats is 409.7 dps
EDIT: sorry, I didn't check for heroic versions of Cho'gall and Nefarian caster maces. Anyway, Elementium Hammer is very close in terms of ep value, and should be a little more easy to obtain
I have a Interupt question... as we shammies have now become quite important for our interupts.. i was wondering is our wind shear spell effected by the 17% spell cap on lvl88 bosses?.. or is windshear a specail attack and will give no misses??
sry if this has been posted else where i have looked but could find nothing
First of all lots of cred to Cochice and everyone else who has contributed to this thread.
Apart from the character linked to my account here, for anyone interested my shaman is called Fenris on Tarren Mill EU.
Anyway, I haven't been able to find anything about it but I really wanted to know if anyone has had a chance to run some numbers on Glyph of Windfury, with the way WF is on PTR?
Does it look like it will replace any of our current glyphs?
