When the patch hits, I'm going to be having two Disc sets - one with AA/A, and one without. I'm looking to see if anyone has any suggestions. Here's what I'm thinking:
With Archangel
Without Archangel
Both will be used as a primary tank-healer, and the decision as to which to use will depend mostly on if it's a fight where I can afford to stack and maintain Evangelism, and whether or not having access to the 15% increased healing CD from Archangel will be of significant use in the fight.
Now, my main concern is to whether or not it's even worth doing, or if the talents gained by dropping Archangel are all worthless. By dropping Archangel and Atonement, I gain the reduced CD on PW:S (for shield-spamming) as well as the third point in Mental Agility; I get the second point in SoS (to increase uptime on PW:S on the tank), and then, since I'll be doing less casts per minute (no smites, so slower spells used), I've dropped SoL to fill up Empowered Healing and get an extra point in Darkness. I'm also forced to take one point in Inner Sanctum.
I'm also wondering if SoL is worth taking even with a Smite build - I see a lot of comments saying it's not very good (averaging at ~ 1ppm), so would I be better off filling up Empowered Healing and putting another point in Darkness or having full points in Darkness, or will SoL be more useful when Smiting to maintain the Evangelism buff?
Personally, I think that SoL will yield less net healing, but I can see that getting a free, instant FH to be quite useful to help a low-health raider or to use on the move, but I might be underestimating the effect of the low proc rate.
