After a bit of basic testing on a training dummy with MM today I found that I was getting about 2k DPS higher than I was getting with Survival during some testing last night (gear optimized via FD, ilvl around 356...although I've reforged and re-gemmed a bit more for haste now that I'm MM, as required for highest DPS with my gear according to FD; please note that some of the improvement is no doubt due to being able to use more orange gems, rather than green, in yellow slots now that the crit meta gem has had its requirements changed). This is hardly a scientific set of tests, but the difference in DPS seemed quite clear.

My rotation was based purely on priority: Chimera, Kill, Aimed, Steady (I use the highest priority shot that is available at any given time). This rotation will rarely cause Serpent Sting to fall off the target due to lack of focus for a Chimera for 5s (something I noticed at FD too...it has more than 15s between Chimera Shots sometimes when enabling manual Aimed Shots for the rotation, although the debug output never shows SrS disappearing from the target).

Yes, a Bane of Havoc guide.

Anyways, for Twilight Ascendant Council, there has been rumors and discussions on other forums
about just applying BoH to any of the first 2 bosses in P2. This is viable because your BoH
buff does not go away when Ingacious or Feludius teleports away.

If there is more testing to prove this, placing BoH on one of these 2 will definitely be a DPS increase.

With the current changes on live is it viable to be using the Windfury Weapon glyph? Or are we still using the current ones?

Since it's been proven that MG does give a chance at another MH attack for combat has anyone found out if it can chain itself and if not how could one go about testing this? Would a combat log showing two MG procs in a row with no other dmging abilities in between suffice or?

Since there's the disparity with Dwarf shamans when you don't take advantage of the Mace Expertise (Hence the use of Torturer's Mercy and Cookie's Tenderizer), where does Mace of Acrid Death , Mace of Acrid Death - Item - World of Warcraft , fall into your theory of caster maces being better for dwarf shamans?

If the gear has both stats on it, you reforge the crit instead of mastery.

The only time your gearing choices significantly change from before is if you are both expertise and spell hit capped and there are no options for gaining haste, then mastery is preferable over additional hit.
Cool, thx a lot bud, greatly appreciate it.

Very confused at the moment. Enhsim is giving me negative EP values for Hit and Expertise, even though I'm under the cap for both at the moment. Anyone else getting similar results? Are Hit and Expertise not as important as we often suggest?
