Seeing as there is a soft haste cap for SV(approx 6% haste from gear w/o 4-piece bonus), from when you want to start gemming mastery after you reach that haste value. Is there there a "soft cap" for BM as well? KC has the same cool down as ES(6s), but we're only firing 1 AS and 2 CS. It seems that having around 6% haste with FF gives me around a 1.6sec CS, allowing me to get in 1 AS and 2 CS right in time for when KC comes off cool down. I am seeing a certain point using FD that Mastery becomes more viable than Haste. I just want to know if there actually is an equation for this.

Our raid is not the best geared, and we were missing the Demo pet buff, but we are all fairly equivalently geared. Two destro locks with imps, two aff locks with succubi. Normal modes.

On Chimaeron, we had one lock of each type - destro with imp and demo and aff. with succubus. I noticed a few interesting things:

- Demo succubus did almost 5K dps on Chimaeron fight.
- Demo infernal did more than 2x the damage of aff infernal.

It seems like succubus got an undocumented crit fix and may be the best pet again.

I have almost enough valor points for my first T11 piece, so I was hoping to find a BiS list that I could read some discussion on before I bought anything. Obviously I will avoid the pieces that drop from BH and keep farming that each week.

This is really hard to answer as it really depends on what role you're trying to fit within your raid group. Are you raid healing or MT healing? Are you doing 25 mans or 10 mans? Answers to these questions play a huge part in how you should itemize.

I haven't seen it said anywhere in the thread, but is it a definite dps gain to link AW/zealotry now? I've been using them chained (GOAK during last half of zeal, use zeal to get fresh inq on AW) to avoid wasted procs, but is that moot now with the lack of random HP generation?

SO I noticed last night that since the hotfix/nerf to H Halfus, the 35%->0% phase absolutely FLEW by. The damage buff is so absurd after a few drakes are down, that the fight becomes a total joke. What proportion of the fight length needs to be <35% for Mutilate to really pull ahead?

My only concern is; is she (Succubus) worth it because her Demonsoul is mediocre compared to Imp or FG? That and i'm not sure she is as good in a fight where you have to change targets frequently, causing her to have to move whereas the Imp can just turn around and hit the next target with minimal movement and dps downtime.

Zakalwe, you are wrong. Even if the Succubus outperforms the Imp, destruction warlocks will still use Imp because of Burning Embers and Empowered Imp Talent (Instant Soulfire).

I was wondering, is it really worth reforging to haste instead of hit while under the 17% spell hit cap? If so how far down would you push your hit if you stay above 8% special cap and have 26 expertise. For example with gear that is crit / mastery such as the magma bracers or t11 rogue legs.
