With all the changes, I have seen if you are fully geared with at least full 359 ilevel gear, haste and unholy presence has been working very well. Mastery and Frost presence has been best for people not full 359+.
My fellow DK was doing 18k on Heroic Magmaw 10 pre-haste and was doing 26k on him after.
Not saying this is set in stone for everyone, but us, along with a few other top tier DK's (not saying I am), have seen some good benefits from haste since the hotfix.
DMC:Hurricane and Heart of rage still seem the best trinks too. Crushing Weight is still pretty bad for frost dw, and impatience of youth/mirror(resist trik) are awesom,e as well in situational fights like H Magmaw where resist can make the fight cake.
Also, Mastery is in no way a bad secondary stat for frost no matter what.
Hit and Expertise caps are also not bad, but from what I've seen plenty of haste/UP dw frost dl's have said goodbye to expertise. Way too soon for anythign to be 100% confirmed.
Just sharing what I and a few others have been doing that have shown good numbers.

Hello people,
I'm really have a hard time coming to grips with the new marksman spec, I am seeing people say they are able to reach 30k+ dps e.c.t, the highest i have reached with this spec (from doing the SrS, AI, SS x 2, then prioritizing whether i need a CS or another AI) is around 15.5k (without using cool downs - But even using cool downs, I'm not able to reach the ridiculous DPS people are achieving e.g. 30-40k+) on the target dummy (I had 59 latency at the time) - I have reforged all my gear into Crit and haste and I'm nearly full 359 raid gear (no tier bonus).
Below is a screen shot of my DPS at the time, my talents, my gear, my haste rating and so on so forth:-
There has been some speculation about capping the haste to 4.4% with the tier bonus but I havnt had any clear results for people without the 4 set tier bonus.
Should I cap my haste at 4.4% and reforge the excess to Crit or mastery (if the item already has crit) - There has also been a speculation on doing an AI > 4-5 SS's > CA or CS > AI and so on, yet i know there is no set 'rotation' and that it is more of a priority shot system but I really feel I'm slacking on DPS.
If you could help me it would be great.

Arcane hits like a truck now (25k average crit), so I didn´t really bothered about delaying ES up to 1 sec every cycle. In fact, I made my personal DPS record on atramedes, 21k, while in Gong duty, and almost the same dps as prepatch in nefarian (20k prepatch 19200 post patch). All in all, SV can still be in the top5 DPS on any fight, even single target, and for movement or AoE fights it will beat MM easily.

What percent of rotations do you estimate yourself able to fit in an arcane after 3xCrS. Is it ever a problem to get the required focus to do this consistently? Your ES delays are probably not 1s as you said, assuming 1.51x3 = 4.53+1s from arcane, that's only a .47 delay (which is close to the default .5s delay the spreadsheet provides a threshold for).
And yeah, I feel like everybody should have an SV spec handy for AoE fights like Maloriak, Magmaw, Halfus, Cho... it's just so good. And, I find that MM is kinda limiting for high movement fights where your rotation may become sub-optimal, whereas SV is pretty consistently strong across movement situations.

I have a question about Hit vs. Haste which may have been answered before, but I have been searching and cannot find it:
Since the stat weight of Haste is slightly higher than Spell Hit, does that mean that I should stack as much haste as possible the second I reach the 2% Yellow Hit Cap? Or is there a higher hit percentage that I should aim for before I start going crazy on haste?
Currently I have 5.81% Hit and 9.45% haste, but I reforged a few of my items to hit instead of haste because it just feels that my hit would be too low without it. Is there a minimum that a PVE combat rogue should be carrying that is higher than the yellow hit cap? I just can't get used to ignoring the spell cap.

Question on DPS Differences
Hey all, nice to meet you all. I have a few questions about the two main Rogue enchants. Obviously the recommended two are Landslide MH+OH. The secondary, cheaper alternative is Hurricane on MH+OH instead. My question stems from an inconsistency issue I have in the raids I'm running. Myself and another Rogue have nearly the same gear, the biggest difference is he has a 409 dps MH (Steelbender's Masterpiece), and a 462 OH (Scaleslicer), both of which are enchanted with Hurricane, whereas I have two 462 dps daggers (Organic Lifeform Inverter MH and Scaleslicer OH) both enchanted with Landslide.
In raids there are fights, like Halfus where he will trounce me in dps by a good 3,000~4,000, and others like Chimaeron where I"ll be ahead of him by 3,000 or so dps. So the question becomes, outside of obvious mistakes in rotations, is Hurricane changing something so massive that despite my better daggers and similar gear, he can stomp my ass one fight and lose badly on another? Exactly how far apart in numbers are we talking when the post said "Landslide is ahead of Hurricane" on the first page? Is it marginal by like 50~100 dps or due to the weird proc chance, it can be really bad or insanely good? I'd appreciate hearing some thoughts on this, and I apologize if somebody already figured it all out and I somehow missed it.
Another reason I'm asking about Landslide versus Hurricane enchants also, is that out of curiosity I looked up some other Rogues doing the same bosses on World of Logs, and the few I looked at had much higher numbers than I've ever seen, and they were using the same blue 409 daggers that most Rogues do when running heroics and they have double Hurricane on those weapons. For example, again on Halfus I pulled 43k dps tonight, but the Rogue I looked at pulled just under 65k on the same fight, with worse gear. Does Hurricane's effectiveness improve by some exponential margin in 25 man raids or is it a stat break point where double Hurricane does in fact become overkill compared to Double Landslide? Any clarification on this would be appreciated, as I'm a bit stumped by the huge numbers on one fight, and subpar (in my opinion) on another. Thanks all!

I'd like to chime in and say that I've been beating on the target dummies now relentlessly for hours after 406. I did a total of about five hours of testing and found that the new Agile Shadowspirit Diamond is a negligible DPS gain compared to the Thundering Skyflare Diamond. At most I tend to gain perhaps 50 DPS with the new gem. So, if you're looking at a 500g price, don't sweat it. You're not losing that much.

My dps problem
It seems when I do slam when proc'd it drops my dps a bit. I was wondering if in any rotation then mine (RB-BT-slam if proc'd if not do battle shout- HS ( when over 50 rage) then a colassus smash when all on cooldown would work better with keeping slam in only if proc'd because it does high damage.

There are a few things wrong with this, Firstly using target dummy for just dps is not correct. Secondly just my personal opinion here saving gold so for dps is defiantly not a good idea

So with the new changes, are there any figures that show if combat is generally doing more dps then mutilate? In a patchwerk like situation, or a multi target switch situation?

Scarlet Fever
Hi Everyone,
First post here. One thing I'm noticing is no one has explored scarlet fever as an option. With the change of it proccing from blood plague instead of blood boil it becomes part of our normal rotation. I tried it out and I'm seeing a 1.5-2k DPS boost. I need to crunch my numbers more and learn how to sim, but it seems an extra 12.5% on obliterate is pretty awesome.
Cheers,
Deane

Unless I'm completely missing something, the Scarlet Fever talent is purely a physical damage debuff - I cannot see any way that this is a dps increase or belongs in a DPS spec unless there is nobody else in the raid who can provide it for your tank.
