@Tyrian: that is true, I find that my own dps suffers significantly in the raids I lead due to all the voice com and the extra things I need to keep track of.
I have a question regarding trinkets. Yesterday I won the 372 bell and I have been using stump of time + volcano until now. The problem is that if I replace stump with the bell, I end up being 1.5% below the hitcap even when reforging. Rawr unfortunately seems to list an incorrect ICD for bell, but my own calculations suggest that it would be better to keep using stump until I can get more hit elsewhere - is this correct?
How does people find PW:S in raids?
It seems that after 4.06 i am back to spamming PW:S and doing more than just fine. I can't provide any personal-logs, however i found a log from another site: World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis
More than trying to fire an AS every time I had focus for it, I was doing CoSx4, and when focus was about to cap, then dump it with 1, 2 or even 3 AS in a row. That way I prevent BA delaying by accidentaly firing AS when BA was coming off CD.
One or two pages back someone pointed that playing SV in 4.0.6 would require to be open minded about the rotation and stat priority. Thats what I did.
Question for you guys: I'm doing only 25 man, most of the time with at least one other druid, 2-3 priests, 1-2 shamans and 1-2 pala heals. Our setup varies good deal, we rarely have a warlock, shadow or moonkin unless I respecc ^.. So, getting to 2004 haste with my current gear ist next to impossible. I have now 1424 haste and reforged everything else to mastery. Mana does not appear to be an issue. With all the priests healing circles, the healing rain of the shamans and me doing sort of "fix what the others miss" type of healing, i.e. tank and raid healing both, my living seed and efflorescene appear to be going mostly into overheal.
I now would like to try a somewhat weird talent build, due to the above mentioned situation in our raid. Here it is:
I tried it on Atramedes last night - we didn't get him down - and came out third behind the priest and the other druid (the other druid having better gear) .. however, I don't think Atramedes is a good boss to try that talent build.
Would you say that this talent build could make sense, considering my circumstances? Or am I totally out of my mind? Any recommendations, thought, ideas, corrections? I don't really want to reinvent the wheel so any comments and ideas are welcome :-)
P.S. I'd post my chardata only I logged out in moonkin gear so there's no use :-(
I got a question, is affliction still viable after the removal of improved soulfire? i noticed i do much less dps after patch, have always been affliction and i love it but if its a loser spec atm i will give it up.
We were in there on 10men normal, had shadow, wl and mage dots on the last add. I don't think I need to explain anything there, the monstrosity can clearly spawn with under 25% HP. Perhaps it's another inconsistency with 10/25 and normal/hm scaling.
I havn't actually seen the new alchemist stone in any calculation here so here's the math:
351 int + 78 hit + 116 haste which are our "best" stats according to the latest SimC calcs.
351*1.05(5%int due to being a mage)*3,2296+78*2,4597+116*1,4677= 1552,3789
This is actually not that bad since it's a static gain compared to other trinkets. Could anyone confirm this being a right conclusion? And 2nd could someone please (who has maybe allready done the calcs) post the 4 or 5 best trinkets(with calculated statweights)? I'm not the very best with the math thing and procchances and so on.
With what other posters said earlier I don't think that this spec will make a big difference in your healing output. If your Efflo heals for 3% of all your total healing, it is said that this is still more than BotG (stolen shamelessly from Erdluf).
If I were you I would not put points in Nature's Cure. The priest and the pala will be able to do that. Put points back in Efflo/Living seed, and I don't know if you have mana issues with your setup/raid? If not, or not that much I would go for the following spec: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft (If you don't use Nature Swiftness alot, take that point to Furor maybe.)
