Given the much stronger Demon Soul from Felguard compared to Succubus and the inaccessibility of Imp SF for demo following 4.06, is it a worthwhile DPS gain to use soulburns to swap between Felguard and Succubus?
e.g on an infinite length Patchwerk fight:
0:00: meta + ds:FG + felstorm
0:36: meta ends
0:51: sb: summon succubus
1:58: sb: summon fg
2:00: meta + ds:FG + felstorm (assuming Impending Doom has procced enough to reduce meta cd)
Do you guys suppose it's possible for a hunter to solo Kel Thuzad in 10 man Naxx?
He could be. I imagine one of the main problems would be his ice tomb, which hits for a % of health over time. If you could predict when he casts it and use distraction shot on him, it might do it since he wont ice tomb his main target (as far as I know).
I need help to figure out if my opening is good or not. Basically I would like to know if there is any ways to improve my numbers with skill, or if I just need better gear.
This is my opening on pretty much any boss:
Str trinket > UF > Outbreak > FS > FS > DnD > SS > DC (if SD proc) > Gargoyle (after 10 stacks of slayer).
I then continue with the basic priority system. I pull high numbers, normally top 3 dmg done and top 5 DPS. During my opening, I don't get to transform my ghoul by the time (str trinke& fallen crusader) fall off, maybe that can help me get higher dmg/DPS? What do you guys think? Feel free to armory me so you can see my gear.
it seems dark intent's dot/hot buff is not unlimited range, last week I used dark intent on a shadow priest in Conclave of Wind encounter, he was on the west wind platform and i was on the east platform, the dark intent buff didn't proc. I'll test it again this week
You are right of course, but being brought to raid only because you provide one of the best (if not the best) PvE cooldowns in the game smells to me like something straight out from TBC era and it's simply not fun.
I had a quick look around the posts here and didn't see anything related to this, so apologies if it's been answered: Does anybody know if using 4+ CP ruptures provides any benefit over just maximising rupture uptime with any CPs you have?
Obviously more rupture uptime means more VW procs, but a lower CP rupture provides less damage and will require refreshing sooner.
I'm having trouble to figure out how much haste rating is required for 3CoS+1AS between every ExS CD due to changed(?) behavior since 4.0.6. Isn't it a better option since you aren't jeopardizing your stat balance in expanse of higher haste ratings to be able to 4xCoS? Or will it be worse due to focus consumption?
