Has anyone tried setting up a shaman for tanking?

I know he couldn't be a traditional tank, but what about stacking large amounts of dodge? With dual rockbiter enhancements a shamans damage reduction would be in the ball park of other tanks. Threat also wouldn't be an issue with this enhance.

As long as the shaman was expertise and hit capped single target threat would be easy. With the expertise capped wouldn't that also prevent the parry insta-gib. (or was that taken out?)

I've been wondering this aswell, however my thoughts have initially always been using a shield but dual rockbiter might be fun to roll with. Is there any viable loot you can get (apart from tanking maces, trinkets, neck and cloak) in the current expansion that would help tanking?

How much mana is 540 spirit x 10 secs Indulgence of the Penitent buff? It costs ~10k mana to proc it Im just curious how much priority juggling and monitoring the buff should be.

Hey there i have a question for you guys. I play TG now and my rotation is CS,BT,RB,BT and maybe slam.
If i respecc SMF shall i use the same rotation?

I've read here and other boards, when KM is up waiting for Oblit is best over consuming the proc on a FS. However if BT is on CD how long is too long to wait? Is it better to just use frost strike if you know it is going to take a few seconds for runes to come off CD for Oblit use?

I'm sure most people have itchy trigger fingers and some KM frost strikes sneak out, so it seems important to me to know what to use KM on in this case.

If there is any empirical data out there to show that waiting for oblit is better then using FS when KM is up?

Hunter focus bar is a decent focus bar addon, which also tracks important buffs, such as ISS duration, frenzy stacks, and lock n load. Shift click to reposition, /hfb config to change settings such as height and width.

I do however find myself still staring at my character portrait to track focus, despite having a nice central bar to track it I personally still use Power Auras also, its flexibility is brilliant, allowing you to track almost anything with visuals, sounds, and timers.

Does anyone know how to change the vertical/horizontal configuration of individual groups in a raid?

i.e. I want groups 1 and 2 vertical to the left of my avatar, group 3 horizontal underneath it and groups 4 and 5 vertical to the right.

Any help would be much appreciated.
