Simple question: What Alliance race would be best for warlock from a min./max. perspective? I know the question's already been asked, but unless my sight decreased again, it wasn't answered yet.

Posted on wowhead's 4.1 spell changes. With the Mastery nerf and the flurry change. I would assume our stat priority will be shifting yet again and hit will become our second stat with crit.

Do other classes have a hit talent? Why are they opening the can of worms and giving warriors a 3% hit talent?

Hit rating and expertise

Hi, just wondering if someone could clear this up for me, I'm new to feral dps. So far played Mage hunter dk an warrior at end game.
So I can generally shift my know how from one toon to another, but I'm completely stumped by the general rule of "hit an expertise are pointless" could some one explain this to me?
Because I see it as not missing/dodged would increase CoH procs an possible free up gcd's were u could Fb and an over all dps increase.
Any help with this would be great thanks

Maybe it's just my imagination but I think sometimes during Incite, the second HS doesn't crit. I've just noticed it tonight while raiding. I was expecting for a big number to come up on screen but it just didn't which had me thinking. I haven't had time to check it out more, has anyone else noticed this or am I seeing things?

Hi guys.

I am a new poster on this forum, but a looong time lurker.

I have a few questions that I cant seem to find the answer to in here. I switched to combat after the patch, mostly because I was getting tired of mutilate spamming.

First of all, have I understood it correct that it is better stacking haste than reaching the spell hit cap? Unlike mutilate where spell hit cap sould be reached asap. Also which abilities does spell hit affect? what is a comfortable hit% for combat rogues right now?

I am also considering trying out the hurricane card instead of my left eye of rajh. It wouldnt be a problem to reach expertise cap by reforging, but I would obviously lose some haste on it. I see the hurricane deck higher on the BiS list, but I am unsure whether to go for it or not with my current gear.

Here is a link to my armory - any inputs as to what I should do differently would be much appreciated. Want to make the best of it. I tried reading through this post, but it was long, so I might have missed something. Sorry if my questions was already answered. Hoping for some help

Erm, you do realise that Sinister Strike is more spammed in Combat than Mutilate is in Assassination?

If for some reason you can't seem to understand the post, then here's your answers in a nutshell:
Haste > Spell Hit for Combat
Spell Hit is for your poisons
Hurricane Deck > Left Eye

More of Combats damage is from physically striking your opponent, in contrast to Assassination which is from poison damage. Hence why the stats are weighted differently. Note that Agi is so much "better" than everything else, that it almost makes no difference if you were to stack Spell Hit instead of Haste (for example), since the EP between them is only 0.1, but Agi is worth almost double their values.

Yup. But at least now I am spamming something new. And I am liking the different CD's and BF with combat. Its not a patronising link, thanks. I have read that. My question was more if it is a good thing changing to a better trinket if that means losing haste in the process? But thanks for the reply!

I don't understand how mastery was nerfed. The gain per point remains the same so they only removed our base 8 mastery points. Someone care to explain how does that affect mastery rating as a stat?

Mastery doesn't change in terms of % per point true, but the loss of 8 points is a bit severe which makes the stacking of mastery not worth as much as before. Hence we are likely shift our focus to a stat that gives us a better gain per point than mastery. Which with the recent update it is likely to be Crit > Hit > Haste > Mastery.

but how about miss of holy fire? its a big hps and mana lost, becouse 17% hit only smite gets with glyph. so this good only for fights with adds 85 lvl
