I'm not a Ret Pally, but I have a stubborn friend that refuses to ditch a 318 trinket (and hasn't got around to buying the VP one yet) who insists that he can't use the Notched Jawbone with his gear because it won't be as good. I was doing some playing around with reforging on his gear, and came up with the following stats and changes.
What I was hoping was that someone knowledgeable could confirm that:
- Hit Cap for a Draenei Paladin is 840,
- Exp Cap for a Draenei paladin is 481,
- And that the things I have below aren't a bad setup, and I'm not missing something.
If there's nothing wrong with the stats with the Jawbone, then I might have a chance of convincing him to upgrade it.
Current Stats
Crit: 1697
Exp: 486
Haste: 755
Hit: 915 (75 over cap)
Mastery: 1091
VS
With the Jawbone and my reforging
Crit: 1631 (
-66)
Exp: 482 (
+4) (Cap is 481)
Hit: 838 (
-2 under,
better by +75) (Cap is 840)
Haste: 755 (No Change)
Mastery: 1268 (
+177)
+33 Strength
+35 Stam
Variable options- 219 of the mastery is able to move to Crit if preferred (91+128)
OR
Alternatively 144 of the Crit can move to Mastery if preferred (100+44)
- With Hit, he's 2 points under, but the Jawbone can move 25 points from Crit to Hit.
- Also Armory can't see his belt properly for its stats, but I'm assuming that its not going to matter one way or the other.
Manual:
Head - No change
Neck (50 Haste -> 50 Mastery)
Shoulders - No change
Cloak (44 Haste -> 44 Mastery)
Chest (75 Haste -> 75 Mastery)
Bracers (44 Mastery -> 44 Crit) (he did this so I replicated it)
Gloves (59 Haste -> 59 Mastery)
Belt - No change
Legs (91 Haste -> 91 Mastery)
Boots (52 Hit -> 52 Mastery)
Ring 1 (44 Hit -> 44 Mastery)
Ring 2 (44 Hit -> 44 Exp)
Trinket 1 (100 Haste -> 100 Crit)
Trinket 2 (128 Hit -> 128 Mastery)
Weapon - No Change
Relic (25 Hit -> 25 Crit)
There's my theorycrafting, but since I'm not a Ret pally, I was hoping someone could double check it and point out any flaws.
