Ok, i have been trying to find the DPS i should be aiming for, and i cant seem to do it.

My personal best is 2206 DPS with no heroism, on Brutallus. Group = me 0/20/41 - war tank - pala tank - feral druid - resto shammy (dropping agi totem), shammy swapped into melee group to use heroism and then back to tank group, only 2 people with drums, which is why i use 0/20/41, well that and the fact i dont have DST.

2:1 norm - 3:2 haste pot - 1:1 rapid fire

that gear i have now is what i had when i did 2206, except i was using the felspine, not 2x shiv. and archimonde bow, not illidan bow.

what i want is the best DPS done on Brutallus (without legendary bow) in a group that is a viable raid group, not one that has been done to only buff 1 player. and not teron gorefiend.

So, what is the best DPS anyone has done or seen from a surv hunter in a normal group with a max of 1 heroism / bloodlust on Brutallus?

Please if poss, post the DPS, my WWS report has expired so you will just have to take my word for it, the group they had, what there gear was at the time, and if no WWS report then how many hero's / lusts they had, and what rotation they used.

i hope people can reply to this, as i really want to know what the best done on Brutallus is, so i know how much i can improve, and what i need to do in order to achieve the best i can be.

I was wondering what i should start doing for my elemental shaman now, I've worked up to 39.80 crit chance and cannot decide on gear upgrades, My server is lacking so the only real upgrades i can get are from badge gear. I was considering purchasing the mail haste legs from the IQ Vendor, [Rushing Storm Kilt]. I currently use legs from ZA [Avalanche Leggings] but i don't know if i should sacrifice the crit for a little bit of haste, Any insight? I've also considered geting the [Corrupted Soulcloth Pantaloons]. The real question is which would i benefit most from in terms of maximum DPS output.

Could someone give me some advice on my spell rotation, right now I am using MF, IS, SF x3 and averaging about 558-600 DPS, now I am not that far behind my guilds other boomkin yet he hovers around the 800 dps mark. I would appreciate any help regarding my spell rotation. Should I be downgrading spells and the such? Thank you in advance.

Hi. Suppose the spreadsheet says 3s/5r. Does that mean that I open on a mob/boss with garrote/sinister once then SnD then build up 3 combo points then SnD then 5 point rupture. Or does that mean that I make 3 combo points on mob/boss with no SnD then SnD after 3 points then 5 point rupture?

If I follow this thread, than there is a deeper gear reset than from Classic to TBC and I guess from lvl77 to 80 it gets really tough.

I understand the macro 3:2 as follows

(adding in dst would take forever trying to time it)

with the badge X-bow. I seem to have too much passive haste and/or buffs in raid to quicken me up well below 1.4 speed.

1.At what point (including latency of ~200) is the perfect shot speed before I start clipping auto shots with the 3:2 macro? 1.6? or do i switch to a 1:1 macro?

2. What would be the perfect trinket combo, I have all 3:

[Ashtongue Talisman of Swiftness]

3. I usually get partied up with a non-beneficial group (healers& mages) so how should I use my personal buffs to best suit my maximum dps
