Since Bane of Agony has the biggest ticks occur at the end, would it be a DPS gain if you maintained Bane of Agony to tick for the full duration on your focus / Soul Swap Exhale target (when you soul swap from your main target)? So basically, only soul swap Corruption and UA from the main target except when the focus target doesn't have Bane of Agony.
I was wondering since there are periods of time when you can Soul Swap only UA and Corruption from your main target and then soul swap exhale those two DoTs to keep the Bane of Agony tick for the full duration on the focus target.
I don't have the math to prove if this would be a DPS gain, does anyone know?
Question really new at this game, I am a fury warrior all gear at 346 or 352.
Is it worth getting enchantments and gems for my equipment at this point my DPS is only 8-9k dps, in heroic dungeons, most likely since I only started playing in December, most the language and abbreviation you use, I have no idea what you are talking about.
If so what gems and enchantment for each piece of gear?
Your input is appreciated, i know it is really expensive to add enchantments, what is the cheapest way to purchase the ingredients for enchantment the auction house is really expensive I have alchemy and herbalism and my specialties.
Having scoured recent posts on specs and still cannot find an answer to the question below, so would be grateful of any advice.
At the moment, I am seeing a lot of the top geared rogues on my realm changing to Combat spec 7/31/3. I currently raid in the Assassination spec as per the guide and enjoy it, but want to know if this is still the preferred DPS spec, or if post recent patches, Combat is now ideal for raiding.
so just to be clear on what im doing, get hit to 8%, then start stacking 20 str 20 crit gems, and reforge expertise until 24-26ish, and then reforge crit aswell? and haste is currently the worst secondary stat.
So I just ran a few training dummy tests and casing MB on cool down lowered my DPS by about 700. With so much less MF there is less chance for an orb to proc and uptime on ES was much lower. Granted I only have 1/3 Imp MB so that may be making a difference but I don't think so because that would mean even less MF and orb proc chance. I'll keep testing it out in raids this week but so far I think my strat to wait for MB for the most possible orbs, just before ES drops is the way to go.
Dear all, I believe this is the correct place to post my request: After a period of time as Holy, I have gone back to what I love... Disc! Now, I am simply looking for recommendations to further improve my talents and gearing. I have read through the disc compendium, and the posts following it, but am not clear whether an emphasis should be placed on Haste or Crit after Mastery? The disc priests on my realm suggest that Crit is much better than Haste for us (DA procs, lots of instant cast spells, etc.), as it was in Wrath. Is this still the case, or should they be balanced?
As you can see I've added as much Mastery as possible, reforged towards Crit, and have found that most readily available enchants are for Haste. My gear is strange (a mish-mash of this and that) but this is because I am not able to raid often so I pick up gear through reputation and slowly accumulating VPs. I have found that I have enough Spirit to last through Ony/Nef, Al'Akir, etc. Thank you for any and all feedback, I look forward to reading.
