Can anybody tell me why my dps seems lower than it should be?

Afkgirl @ Kil'jaeden - Game - World of Warcraft

That's my current gear/talent/gylph makeup.

My rotation goes as follows:

Garrote, snd, 1x mutilate, rupture, vendetta, 2x mutilate, cold blood envenom. I noticed though that my burst damage appears very low compared to other rogues that I've seen.

On a target dummy, I'm averaging 15k unbuffed. Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I see other rogues pulling 22k+ during their openers, then their dps slowly drops to an average number. Whereas my dps does not spike, it just starts low and gradually picks up until it averages 15k.

With 4.1 offering new weapon choices, my hunter has equipped a 353 dagger and a 353 fist weapon over his 346 two handed, but my dilemma is there only seems to be an enchant choice of 26 agi available (Exceptional Agility) for each weapon which is way lower than the 130 agi enchant for the two handed. I've tried a search on enchants for weapon enchants for weapons not used in melee and am just doing a reality check to see if I've missed something. If, in the coming days, I can pick up a 353 two handed weapon, this will be remedied but in the mean time, is there something better than the Exceptional Agility enchants that I've missed?

Evangelism stacks last for a long time (20 seconds) so I'm confused by the assertion that it's necessary to refresh that duration. You could literally Holy Fire only 3 times on cooldown and those stacks of evangelism would be up by the time your Archangel came off cooldown. If you time appropriately you need 4 holy fire and 1 smite every 30 seconds, or 5 holy fires every 40 seconds. That's a little over 5 GCDs or ~7-8 seconds depending on your haste.

Granted that either way, using Archangel without Atonement is at the very least a very situational thing to be doing.

I'm an arcane mage making Heroics 25 man and i have to make a choice between:

Old Situation:

Spell Power - 7972,80
Haste - 614
Hit: 1744 (0.02 above hit cap)
Crit: 831
Mastery: 1662

New Situation:

Spell Power - 7986 (+14 SP)
Haste - 614
Hit - 1780 (0.30% above hit cap)
Crit - 960 (+129)
Mastery - 1525 (-137)

I have to choose between those wins and losses, anyone can help please?

It seems pretty balanced that warriors deal ~5k more dps than we do. If no Dk buff hits, every Dk in a top guild has to reroll a warlock/hunter/warrior or spend the time sitting next to the instance portal.

I really cant figure out why protection and dps warriors got a raid cd, while our rez can also be done by warlocks/druids (not to mention the battlerez glyph), and is still caped to three rezes per fight.

There has a lot of work to be done till the release of 4.2.

Hello.

I have a question about applying rupture as an assassination rogue. In the beginning I open up with a garrote and use the 1 CP I get from it into a rupture and if I get another one I spend that into SnD, if not I get the 2-3 CP with one mutilate and use it on SnD. However, I've been applying rupture as either 1CP or 2-3 CP instead of a full 5 CP rupture. I'm kind of confused whether I am doing it right, or am I supposed to use a 5CP rupture at all times after the opening?

I'd also appreciate if someone could list how they open on a fight and how they would continue from there.

To be honest I cant see it going throu, and I mean the holy Shield change, if it does make it to live, blizzard has no idea what they're doing. Back in beta i think Holy Shield was changed from 15% block chance to 10% value and mastery nerfed to make up for this dmg blocked buff (that was blue post from Ghostcrawler i think, however i dont know how to find it), now they nerfed Holy Shield to what it was back on beta just 10% less and leaving weakened mastery? Seriously? If this goes live we're getting hit by nerf hammer hard.

I am having a problem with SimC not being able to get my spec/gear from the armory when i try to import it, but i can some how get my glyphs i have asked around with people i know who use it and they are having the same problem this problem started for me this monday and i have the most up to date version of SimC as per the link in this threads OP just looking for some help
