Anyways, I have a concern with my melee hit at 3.56% (spell is at 12.01%). If I am understanding the first page correctly, should I be concentrating on getting this up to 8%? If so, why didn't Mr. Robot take this into account when I 'optimized'?

I do not raid, and play mostly in normal dungeons for now until I feel confident enough to try Heroic.

Thanks!!
You should not be worried about your hit. It is better to reforge hit to mastery or avoidance stats. Really the main reason to have hit before was for interrupts, but now those cannot miss. As long as you're not having any problems holding aggro, your primary responsibility is staying alive. That isn't to say that you should ignore your threat/damage, but it definitely comes second to survivability.

1200x2=2400 ap and 60x2=120 ap......enough said. Also, while Carebare is viewing this forum I would like to point the poor upkeep of this forum. Unilke every other class forum on EJ, this is the only one without a definitive guide to playing the class i.e rotation, gemming advice, stat weighting. Yes I am gonig to get an infraction for pointing this out, but seriosuly come on...If need be I'll do that job, just please fix it, I don't say this for myself as I know how to pay my class, I say it for those who are maybe new to palying the class and like most other people, do not have the time to read 28 pages of forum posts just so they can know what a Markov's chain is.... Thank you.

I know this question has been asked before about shoulder/glove combo's for dps warriors.

I was curious because I believe the question was post mainly for SMF warriors.

Would a warrior , whther TG or SMF, benefit more from tier11 heroic shoulders + plated fists of provocation(heroic) or the alternative of tier11 heroic gloves + pauldrons of the great ettin(heroic).

I have seen many top players using either. I would like a definite answer on which set of gear is more over all dps or dmg done, no matter how miniscule the increase.

Keep in mind, the information about the Glyph changing to a 30sec CD from 15sec is datamined information by MMO-Champion, not an official change as per Blizzard. Until the text is in blue, and not green, over there, take it with a grain of salt.

Plus, I'm pretty sure that change will be altered/revoked entirely before the PTR ends.

Do you think that using the heroic nefarian shoulders and the heroic retribution legging would be better than using the ordinary heroic tier 11 four piece(cannot link said items at the current moment...) because if you reforge the parry from the shoulders into mastery and the hit from retribution leggings to whatever is most needed it seems stat wise that it comes out ahead, but basically what im trying to ask is that is it worth dropping to the two piece tier 11 and getting those two items? Just trying to get a secondary opinion because when i look at the nef shoulder/ret leggings they seem BiS
(first time poster, just trying to get another persons view on that setup that i said above)

I know you probably will thin i am an idiot but i can seem to surpass around 14k dps. i have read your death knight frost guide which did help me a little but im not sure what i am doing wrong. there are a few enchants and like 2 pieces of gear that are still ilvl 346 but that really shouldnt make much diference. on the raiders dummy i am only pulling up to a constant 14.5k dps and i need to surpass that.

I just re-subscribed and hit 85, and my crit is abysmally low, around 6% as arms, I expected a drop but not this much. Will it go back up eventually to about 20% with better gear or is this intended?

I mean I don't remember dropping this low last expansion.

better itemization...

Hey just wondering which set of gear is better for TG fury warriors:

Pauldrons of the Great Ettin/ Earthern handguards

or

Earthern Shoulderguards/ Plated Fists of Provocation

Seen a post about SMF fury but not TG and I wasn't sure if the tier gloves/offset shoulders or tier shoulders/offset gloves were a bigger dps increase. Please let me know when you get a chance, thanks

Could you possibly change this on the main thread..

In a recent hotfix drain life's damage has been reduced by 25% so by any extent an ss filler is the way to go. I would just like to point it out so people aren't mislead by the thread because they will do significantly less dps doing it. Wether it is even worthwhile to keep the rest of the information for the future is up to you but I dont think the whole speccing of it is needed now.

Well have a nice day

Hi everyone, I've recently been looking around for profiles of druids who have all they need and it seems that almost all are doing something different than the others. Some are stacking mastery, some get 2005(2035) haste caps, and some are getting a metric ton of spirit.

What I have not found though, is someone posting a chardev or similar profiling tools links, so I have come to ask what everyone thinks of this set up i have created, it is used for a 10/0/31 with spell damage reduction and BotG(no natures bounty) spec.

chardev 8 - WoW Cataclysm

Here are a few points I have about this:
- Uses 4pc for extra regen
- SoW Breakpoint for extra rejuv tick (2039 haste rating in this set up)
- quite a lot of extra mastery for increased healing
- flexibility for a LOT more spirit if wanted
-

Stats are as follows:
- ~1550 spirit + 540 spirit from 4pc + SoW reduction + FoM regen
- 9025 spell power
- 117k mana
- 2039 haste (~16% haste)
- 381 crit (~18.5% crit)
- 1633 mastery (~+9 mastery)
- 6318 int

Not only am I looking for input on this build, I would personally like to see others probable best in slot builds for current tier, even if it is only slated to last a few more weeks. Any input to help me improve this would be greatly appreciated as well and any constructive criticism would be nice.

Thanks.

Like... really? Howling blast used to hit for 100% across the board - then it went down to 100% ST/60% AOE - then it went down to like 50% AOE - then a ST buff and another AOE nerf - then an overall what-8% nerf? Then ob gets dropped from 160 base to 150 - and now an overall 2% wep dmg nerf?

Are DKs that seriously OP in PVP that this is required? I dont PVP much, and we went from a bottom-3 PVE spec to middle of the road, and are now being forced back down to the bottom.

Is this going to cause DW to be the unquestioned frost spec going into 4.2?

Well something to keep in mind is that Ragnaros only drops 2 handers for us, and his loot is a higher ilevel than our only 1 hander option which is a trash BoE drop. That may have something to do with the nerf.
