could somebody explain me how to set up SimCraft so it takes Hit for Fury into account properly?
Right now, hit comes out with the highest scaling, even over STR and Crit, which I somehow can't believe to be true.
I just started working with the program, so maybe it's an issue which is solved very easily but I can't achieve it on my own.
I'm just now getting back into prot and for the life of me can't find an answer to a question I have on the threads. In regards to your gloves enchant, would you consider the Synapse Springs to be a more viable enchant if you are an Engineer? Obviously under normal circumstances the gloves would be enchanted with either Exp or Mast but a 450 Mast uptime every minute seems more viable to me.
hello, one short question: my gear is 359, i have the t4 bonus and cs glyphe.
i have now:
crit 1932 haste 1362 mastery 609.
is this ok? or to less mastery now? my dps is good if a hardcast ai. if i push 2-3 arkanes between the SS, my dps goes down i can have alternatively:
crit 1982 haste 1196 mastery 705
crit 1982 haste 1094 mastery 807
crit 1982 haste 935 mastery 966
is see a lot of raid-progressed hunters with 900-1100 haste, why they dont go to the caps at 1346 or 1486 ?
is my gear with 1932/1362/609 ok or is the mastery price for reaching the haste cap too high for me and i should reduce haste? please help me i cant find a answer with math calc and femaledwarf.
Hey guys I have a question and I have been through the forums non stop and just cannot find this question already asked. Well actually two questions.
1) Do shamans performance not scale with gear at the moment? The reason I ask is because I used to pull an average of 16k DPS on boss fights, maybe a little high maybe a little less, and it seems as I get more and more gear, my DPS is slowly getting lower and lower. I pull around 11-12k now =/
2) If the Haste = Master >> Crit, and I always have Wrath of Air Totem down bringing bringing my haste to roughly 19% my mastery stays behind at roughly 14 or so. So my question is should I be going for more mastery so they are balanced with totem down, or balance them without totem??

I have had this same exact problem!!! It appears we are not scaling with gear. I am doing about the same DPS as when I was 346 and now I am 357. HELP!!!
I wonder if 4T12 normal would surpass heroic 4T11 for movement heavy fight involving significant time scorching. Also the fun factor might be something I would consider: I would gladly loose 500/1K dps for a doubled amount of hot streak proc.
I have a rather easy question:
Since both DW and 2H now DPS in UHP, why do you still put 2/2 points into Improved Frost Presence?
My Rune regeneration was 8.26s before I spend my two points in IFP, after I spend those points the regeneration speed didn't change at all. This may be due to the 10%-Buff of UHP.
So, in my eyes, the two points in IFP are just wasted.

Just pointing out that IFP increases your runic power generation and not the speed to which your runes regen. So yes, your observation is correct. It is therefore worth dropping a point in IFP if you as you again point out, don’t use FP to DPS.

For prot, is it a good idea to reforge strength for anything at all? Most tanking items already have mastery, but considering it's a mostly useless stat, is there anything that, if we can, we should reforge strength into?
Latest version of rawr models the 4t12 for fire. I've ran a few tests on the valuation and it seems that if you have 4t11 heroic ie. 372 gear switching to normal 4t11 is a dps loss, it follows that breaking 4t11 for higher ilvl pieces isn't worth it either.
Basically the earliest you can expect to switch your 4t11 is when you start getting heroic t12 pieces.
Don't know if this intended that T12 with 4pc boni is even lower thanheroic T11...but it makes me a bit sad...shall I really wait for heroic token and buy random items of valor points at first?! Nice logic...
